PlayStation Classic
Almost 25 years ago, the original PlayStation was introduced to the world. Developed by Sony Computer Entertainment, it was the first home console in video game history to ship 100 million units worldwide, offering consumers a chance to play games with real-time 3D rendered graphics in their homes for the first time.

Today, we are excited to announce that we are bringing back the original PlayStation experience in a new miniaturized version – PlayStation Classic! The console will come pre-loaded with 20 classic titles, including fan-favorites such as Final Fantasy VII, Jumping Flash, Ridge Racer Type 4, Tekken 3, and Wild Arms."

I have mixed feelings about this. It's a cool idea (the controllers now are USB), but I miss the analogs directional.
Plus, the list of game is not that great.

Only a few games are known right now. I really hope the original Fighting Force will be part of the 20 games. I can live without the sequel. I just hope the first one will be playable.

I hacked my snes mini and was able to put street fighter alpha 1,2 and 3 on there, hopefully they'll be a way to put other ps1 titles too coz I really like castlevania sotn.

This would be cooler if they had given PS4 backwards compatibly in the first place. I have a pretty huge ps1 (2 and 3) library more recently and it kind of sucks that this mini won't be able to play them.

My kids enjoyed the NES and SNES classic so I guess I'll add this to their collection. I agree with O'ilusionista though, the list of games here is pretty underwhelming. Also kind of looking forward to the Genesis classic now that At games isn't doing the emulation anymore.

One of the biggest bad point is the WIRED controllers. They could had included two wireless controller, it would be way worthing buying.

I feel the same way.
Everybody does it too. Nintendo released both their classic minis with wired as well.
It may be cost effective for them but I honestly think it sucks.
I hear 8bitdo controllers may alleviate things as an alternative but they are expensive.

Anyway's I'm not getting this as I'm fine with emulation and wireless controllers on my end but I might have gotten it if they had wireless controllers.
Another thing that I would have LOVED to see on these new classic mini consoles would be a trophy system as that would really give new meaning to replaying all your old favorites.

What's so bad about wired controllers? Never had a problem with them, to be honest.
