Video Edit?

@machok
openbor can record demos, according to the manual

but i ignore how would you place them in between cinema screens or attract mode sequences

i am working on an overhaul of my module's attract mode and will go overboard and do everything using PNG sequences instead of webm.

i also made templates to create fake attract mode sequences that display touch buttons and press start prompts, so i can record the how to play videos that are "sandwiched" between sequences like in the original arcade, those are recorded in high resolution and then dumped as png sequences too...
here is a rough example video of the "recreation"

i tested this as a webm on the game itself and it looked too blurry for my taste, that is why i will go with PNG sequences instead

I would just record it and create a webm video. Then you're done. Anything else is making a mountain out of a molehill.

Making a video like that can seem tricky at first, but it's definitely possible. I had a similar project where I wanted to create a cool video for my friend's birthday. At first, I was using basic editing software, but it just wasn't cutting it for the fancy effects I had in mind.

So, I started looking for other options and stumbled upon a free video maker without watermark. This software had all these cool effects and transitions that really made the video pop. It was pretty easy to use too, once I got the hang of it. Playing around with different features and effects was actually a lot of fun. If you're looking to create something similar to that video, I'd definitely recommend checking out some of these free video makers.
