In Progress Streets of Rage X (Windows / Android)

That's actually a brilliant idea. instead of adding a 4th route, you could just add custom levels as alternative stages or branches of 2 or more consecutive stages for the main 3 routes. Can't wait to see what you come up with. SORX is already shaping up great, and it's not even the end of the...

In Progress Streets of Rage X (Windows / Android)

Hmm that shadow type does make a difference - it should be easier to position myself better using rounded shadows, instead of projected like i used before. Lining up with Jet is definitely one of most difficult parts, so that should make it better. Also, I didn't know there was a SOR2X arcade...

In Progress Streets of Rage X (Windows / Android)

It's me again :) Sorry for the spam but I've watched some footage from both BK3 and SOR3 (and SOR2) and it seems that the OG Jet bosses hover very close to the ground most of the time, except when they're about to strike, making them pretty much ground targets for that duration. Maybe that's the...

In Progress Streets of Rage X (Windows / Android)

I've finished the SOR3 route and it feels a lot better than before, with only 2 things holding it back: 1. Bulldozer part - camera pans way too far to the left, leaving only a tiny part of the screen between your and the dozer, which makes it very difficult to dodge considering how fast it...

In Progress Streets of Rage X (Windows / Android)

I encountered a bug during SOR3 route in the jungle - one of the robots is stuck with 1hp, doesn't move and doesn't take any damage. There's no collision for attacks and grabs deal no damage; can't throw him either, and during chockehold the animation plays but no "hits" are registered. Also, he...

In Progress Streets of Rage X (Windows / Android)

I'm back and I've finally had the chance to play Beta 14 (I checked my files and it turns out that my last version was Beta 8 lol) and I can definitely tell the game feels more fair. It seems that easy mode makes enemies and bosses less agressive and reduces their health, but I can't really...

In Progress Streets of Rage X (Windows / Android)

It allows certain attacks to hit enemies that are lying on the ground, for instance after knock down, similar to how it works in SOR4

I might be wrong but I think they are enabled directly from unlockables. No cheats appear in the "cheats" menu for me either, but they do work once enabled in "unlocks", tested on infinite juggle

In Progress Streets of Rage X (Windows / Android)

I agree that Noras can be annoying with their range and stunlock-ish behavior, especially when there's more than 1. I also noticed that sometimes the player gets swarmed with enemies like in Mania mode, even though I'm playing normal. That's why I don't recommend the SOR3 route in this version...

In Progress Streets of Rage X (Windows / Android)

Most of the time I have rage attacks disabled, as they are really cheap life loss when fighting bosses and not really worth it on the player, but when I played with rage moves ON, holding energy and pressing special seemed like the best/easiest/most convenient choice. Sometimes it did not...

In Progress Streets of Rage X (Windows / Android)

That's why i disabled rage attacks altogether. I just can't use them effectively (most of the time i just miss lol) while bosses absolutely wreck me using those, so in my case it's just handing over my lives for free :D Same with counters - not sure if I'm supposed to parry to make use of them...

Thanks for the response and for being so open to all the feedback. I realize that my feedback was mostly regarding things that do not work well, and I don't want it to come across as rude or pointless criticism, So let me just say that all the other things outside those comments are amazing :)...

In Progress Streets of Rage X (Windows / Android)

Hey, I've just completed the SOR3 route and just like we already discussed - ninjas are probably the worst enemy in game. For an enemy who's so fast and hard to hit (both ranged attack AND dodge/block?) they sure have a lot of health, which doesn't make much sense. I swear their health drains...

In Progress Streets of Rage X (Windows / Android)

I tried SOR3 and I gotta agree that it has some well designed boss fights: Shiva feels over the top for a Stage 1 boss (more difficult than SOR2 Shiva who was the FINAL boss); However, Mona and Lisa are a great example of a fast and agressive boss who doesn't feel unfair. That fight was very...

In Progress Streets of Rage X (Windows / Android)

Thank you for the warm welcome :) It makes sense that their health is adjusted for the new tricks up our sleeves, but as you mentioned - someone playing on normal (or potential easy) isn't likely to know them all :) I agree that some SOR4 bosses seem to be similar in that regard - Ms Y for...

In Progress Streets of Rage X (Windows / Android)

Hey, I just created an account to tell you that this mod is awesome. Definitely the best way to experience SOR1-3 IMO. I love all the additions that make the game play like SOR4. Since it's still a beta, I understand that balancing might be off, which is why I wanted to toss in my 2 cents: 1...
