The original sites are archived but you can still download the files. In case you have trouble here's the fonts for MK 1 and 2 that were already setup for this program.  You can copy how these are setup if you want to add the MK3 fonts...

I agree the text should be using proper MK fonts. You should be able to add the text with script to use the in game fonts we made, saves making the images.  You can use the special characters that aren't being used in the font for the arrows and gamepad buttons etc. or just have a another...

The weaponlord sprites actually look really good at this resolution.  I have this on original SNES and it's a bit of cringe worthy game to say the least.  The sprites have that faded look extra contrast/darkness on them could help them match sprites from other games.

It's not really a Fighting Force if there's only one person  ::)

sorry for the late reply, no there is no demo of this game, only the development builds I have.  I'm not currently working on it either...  there was too many technical issues that could never be resolved.  I did a lot of work on this spanning  over a decade, I would like to at least release...

Yeah there wasn't much to gain re-processing the audio tracks. It's just those big ones that are taking up room needlessly.  The tracks you want are probably out there somewhere (especially if someone had them to put onyoutube) have you checked sites like this for the songs you want...

no I think you would need to use the original files, I cant seem to open these to edit, but the will play in some programs. When it plays it shows an image of the original youtube video, so it has useless data we dont need for openbor as well.  i can see these are converted from some youtube...

Contra mod is a bit older, it hasn't worked on newer builds for a while now afaik.  It should really be left for Bloodbane to fix it himself, it's a complex mod.  it's better to release things like this as a patch instead of editing peoples mods and distributing them like this.  Bloodbane...

I just got the files, some of the ogg files aren't actually ogg, maybe some BOR files with wrong extension?

could be a lot easier than what we had, we decided earlier in the thread to use another sprite, had started working on the tail already, but it does take a bit of work.  original sprite

maybe add some flying foot enemies or something

just in case someone else  has the same problem, you need to enable show file extensions in windows settings...
