Here are some new special intros for a couple of characters on Blanka's stage. These intros will be in the next game update which will be released on 8/16/2024. If you have any ideas for the other characters on the roster to have a special Blanka intros feel free to share your ideas. [youtube]

@kimono Those sprites are pretty cool. I don't know who this character is but he looks to have many of the same style moves as Ken. So it might work. @Miru For some reason my rom versions of RBFF2 don't have defeat ports on the countdown menu. I thought your idea was cool to include Cheng...

The Van was a move? I'm looking in the RBFF2 versions of Cheng in mugen and they have the van as an intro. Also there is some woman in his intro/win poses. Don't know who she is but should probably add her into an intro. Also Cheng is supposed to be a recreation of the Jackie Chan sidekick...

I'm trying to make the next game update as big as possible with 4 new characters. So the forth character I picked was Cheng Sinzan from the Fatal Fury series. My plan is for a late July or early August release for the game update, so I should have Cheng and Athena ready for download sometime...

@maxman Thanks! @MysticG Ok cool. @O Ilusionista Yeah it looks really goofy, but I'm not sure I want to try to make a full walk animation by Friday when I plan to release him.

Ryu is basically finished. He has all the same moves now as Ultimate Ryu, but with a few twists to keep things interesting. In this last preview video I go over all his moves as well as Evil Ryu so you can get a look at them. Ryu will be released on 5/24/2024. [youtube]

I remember this project way back in the day and always enjoyed it. Glad to see it's still getting some new attention.

I don't have any plans at the moment for SF1 characters though Sagat seems like a good choice if I were to make another. I could even recreate the famous Ryu uppercut that gave Sagat his chest scare when SF1 RYU VS SF1 Sagat. Those walking animations for the intro are from the original game. I...

Here is a preview of Athena. I went through all the different versions of her and grabbed the best parts to make her move list, but using the KOF 95 sprites. Surprisingly I didn't have to make many custom sprites to get the new moves to look good. I plan on releasing her in a few weeks along...

Updated the stage to fix an issue with the floor having missing sprite in Mugen 1.0.

I want the KOF 94 and 95 China stages in the Classic VS game, so I've already started work on Athena using the 95 sprites. I got all her basics, psycho ball, psycho blade & phoenix arrow coded already. Not sure if she will be the next character or if I'll update one of the older character first.
