In this game, the Sukeban will not carry a bag as a weapon, but will carry a chain.

I also tested the upgraded stage and the next stage. Now, I think I just need to increase the types of enemies.

The background is a night street, but feeling that the lighting and details were lacking, I tried to add more details with my limited skills.

So you remember that old video. Back then and now, the stage and background music were exactly the same. The game details were different, but it brings back memories.

I started creating a Sukeban as an enemy and began testing. It is currently running smoothly. It was only difficult at the beginning, so I think I will be able to create the rest of the characters quickly.

I have completed the design for the Sukeban character in advance. While there may be slight changes from this point, I will work while maintaining the basic framework.

I don't know how many years it has been since I last drew a female enemy character. I am working on a design concept for a delinquent girl. She is scheduled to appear in Stage 3, so the day we meet her is not far off.

I have compiled a list of characters that will appear in the game. Characters marked with a question mark are upcoming characters whose designs have not yet been finalized.

It is still in the development stage, but once completed, we will increase the variety of enemies.

Thank you. The part where the fight changes into a race(??) appears in the NES version of the Kunio-kun game.

I think I've seen that game before, too. I didn't play it myself, but I remember it.

We are modifying the bike explosion effect. Now, when the bike falls, sparks occur on the parts that scrape the ground, and the main body turns red just before the explosion.

The bike explosion is a take from the original game, but are there any better examples in games?

In this video, the enemies from Stage 2, which I just finished, appear. I made them before, but this is the latest version. Clearing this stage leads to the motorcycle stage, and I plan to make a boss later on.

I am also creating the Stage 2 biker gang characters using the relatively recent Stage 1 enemy sprites from the game that appear in recent videos. Once this is finished, the characters to be made later will be easy, so the beginning is the only struggle.

This is a move from Crash 'n the Boys: Street Challenge. I referenced it from here.

I'll try translating this using DeepL. “I want to translate the Kunio-kun game into natural English.” How does that sound? I was using Google Translate before—is this version easier to read?

When I read posts here, I don't understand English very well, but I try to grasp the other person's intent and respond; however, I often find that what I intend to say is translated differently.

(not sure my english was great here) Since the Kunio-kun series is set in Japan, Japanese fits the style, but I found that the translator often failed to accurately grasp what I wanted to say. I am not an English speaker, but I want to say that English is the safest choice for OpenBOR games.

Given the setting of an 80s Japanese school (or an Eastern theme), English might not seem to fit quite well, but I think it is the safest choice for the language haha. If there is anything I struggle with, it is finding the English names for expressions from the original game haha.
