64th Street: A Detective Story

Are you using v3 6391

I've used the last four versions of engine 3 and the last two versions of engine 4, also used a fake stage, the annoying thing is some games I've built nosame 1 works despite what engine build it is.

I guess that's why it's a bug, I know the back end code for it pre-dates even when orochi X was developing the engine.

Weird. Maybe, is it because it's in script or something? There must be something wrong with the way nosame acts but I have no idea what it is.

Oh wow. I just came back to this thread. Sorry, I've been busy because I moved into my new house, but.... HOLY CRAP GUYS! Everything I'm seeing here is magical. You're all so insanely talented here. The whole reason I had this idea was because I always like the design of RIck and Allan with the crazy colors and I thought it could be a light and funky game with some improved music. And then I did some evil AI stuff to see what I could do to the 64th Street music and it came out kinda fun.

Also the mp3 link

The remix is absolutely awesome, I love it and I love it! It takes us straight into the jazzy vibe of the time and the two characters on the cover are super badass ;)

I absolutely like it! Very close the the source game.
I'm not sure I feel like it would match with the classic arcade graphics, but why not using it in alternate mode of the game.

I remember these MrQ? Final fight games with different modes having different sound tracks on old BOR games.

Why not using it for such a remixed game mode. (if all the soundtrack is done in this style...)

Otherwise it could be a nice track idea for some survival / endurence mode where you fight all enemies / bosses in one regular stage.
These are my suggestions.

I think a part of me just want to play the main game mode with the source assets and arcade music :)

It's possible that it can be done with script where you go to How-to-Play mode and choose music style for the main game. (I had done mine already.) Or it can be done like SORX style which music style to choose but with the way like you choose a scenario mode first before selecting characters.
