Hi,
I know everyone keeps talking about how you should read the manual and search for your answers, when this is the first thing I do for at least a few days before I break down and ask a question.
But for some reason, maybe because I don't know what to look for or the correct keywords to search for to give me the best answer, I can't find a decent example of alpha masking being done.
Does anyone have one of the following?
1. A grayscale alphamask png?
2. A game/demo that uses alphamasking?
Even when I read the manual, it's hard to learn something new at times when you've never seen it in action. Or is someone uses a phrase that you can't point to in your mind. If I could just see an example of a what a grayscale alphamask file even looks like, that would help me connect the dots.
Is there something that someone could share that could help?
I could also be thinking about this topic the wrong way as well.
