Animated Background for Select Screen? Help

Looking forward to having a panoramic like picture of the city from sor3 loop scroll from left to right then repeat in the background of my select screen.

I do not know where to begin. I have not found anything in the manual relating to this.

Any ideas How I can accomplish this? Please show examples.

look up the 'Rocket Viper 2' games. I think there's a thread in the 'downloads' section. You could do 1 animated gif, or you could chop up a big scene into lots of smaller ones and have the script engine loop through them. that game does both for its animated backgrounds and both ways work really well.
