Hi,

Recently joined this forum, and new to the scene.  I was googling for some old BOR stuff and came across this:

Not that familiar with mugen either, mostly just seen remakes of VS fighter games. Any other similar mugen games out there?
 
That game was done in Mugen by Serio, a very skilled girl (yeah, its a girl).
The game is copy protected in (if I am not wrong) assembler, so you can't extract the content.

I'm also planning to do something similar to this but with Freedom Planet characters (and guests).
 
Something seemed a UFGE or Ikemen?
I never saw Soma cross in a fighting game with others.
I when only when I see similar to Mugen games, single encounter Sprites xD
 
The team behind Serio's Castlevania Fighter has come a long way and I'm impressed with the quality of these Boss fights:

It would only be missing a few phases with enemies with half-bosses to beat and it would be perfect :)

Last time I heard from it, Serio had dropped the game development and released all the files - and I remember taking a look at it and it being the most advanced mugen coding I ever saw.
 
That's cool, shame the video lacks a link to the game itself, I really did want to poke at it. Found a discord about it, apparently there is a new version done this year even, well by a third party, will test and compare to the latest one (apparently 6.22 is the last version from her, being the one that got distributed/released unencrypted)
