could be a lot easier than what we had, we decided earlier in the thread to use another sprite, had started working on the tail already, but it does take a bit of work.

Looks pretty cool!  What game is that original sprite from?

I'm sure Omega knows about them.^^

He provided sprites for the Spikes on Slash's Shell at the beginning of the porject since the one I made by my self looked realy bad, I'm not bad at Frankenspriting stuff together but I'm realy bad in creating sprites from scratch.^^

I still have the "Final Version" of it, this version also has the shoulder Armor now that was missing before, if you want it just PM me.

Btw. The colors in the full sheet are not realy seperated yet, I hope that is not that big of a problem.
 
I'm trying to work on foot clan sprites using Guy from FF3 i edited the palette to make it more flexible in terms of different style foot soldiers.

I'm pretty happy with the mirage edits but I wanted a 2nd opinion on the cartoon edits not sure if I should go with the black belt i think it looks better but the purple belt is more accurate thoughts ? suggestions ?

I think a purple belt works better to break up the color scheme of the Foot. Or maybe a gray shirt, black belt, and purple hood, like the 1988 PLAYmates figure.
 
I would like to see a TMNT mod used true to the tradition of TMNT.  More of a stealth game than a standard side scrolling beat em up.  A game incorporating elements of platformer (since they are scaling high rise buildings and jumping roof tops) while keeping some beat em up style fights in the sewers, alleyways, rooftops and dojos/warehouses.

The TMNT franchise is potentially one of the deepest wells to work with. 
You have Leatherhead, Krang, Rocksteady, Bebop, Baxter Stockman, Usagi Yojimbo, Ace Duck, Triceratons, Utroms, Shark monster guy, new character Hob from IDW TMNT, Slash, Karai, Mr Nobody, Hun and even more you could go into.
Ever heard of Quake Butt, Diddy Wah Daddy, Bone Ugly and Rusty Dusty?  4 amazing characters from a TMNT Mirage era one shot that were never capitalised on.
 
not sure how far you gotten but my suggestions would be the following below.

Use sprites from SNES and Sega version of the game hyperstone and turtles in time.

make it a 4 player simult game in which you can select up to 3 AI teammates to fight alongside with or online with people or local 4 player.

make the roster
leonardo
donny
mikey
ralph
kc jones
rex 1000
mondo gecko
yosaki nojimbo (sp)

give each char unique moves and fighting styles with differing speed and strength and abilities.

create an all new story mode in which shredder and krang have teamed up with all the turtles rogues and they have kidnapped april and escaped to dimension x and your job is to save her
 
awesome work on the foot ninja sprite @therain If you want I cant see about getting different weapons added to give more variety like swords and the axes from the original movie.

side note - Does anyone still have slash's spritesheet?
 
@thegr8test thanks I do need to add some weapons to the sheet for the foot but I will probably also need to make some custom sprites for 2 handed weapons I haven't gotten around to it yet. I haven't had much free time lately to work on things

I always wanted to remake that game, using Pyio Pyio (or what ever was his name) as a base. I wish I had time for all my ideas :(

I like the palettes you did for Slash.  btw man the project isn't discontinued, still working on stuff, I think the_rain is still working on his stuff too.  ;)

Oh then I did misinterpret the situation, I will change the Text on my original post.^^
 
I had to have a break and things get in the way, I have aslo had some serious health problems... that yet to be diagnosed properly...I've became very unhealthy by spending so much time sitting in front of a PC...

I was not spriting but I was working on original music and other things for the mod.  Kinda didn't expect two years hiatus from openbor but starting to get time again...  Once this became a spriting project it went from being a 6month mod t a long term 5+ years project, but people assumed I quit and I was getting frustrated...  it's just lots and lots of sprite work, custom sprites, palette reworking, colour seperation etc.  So not much work on the actual game, but plenty of stuff going on behind the scenes.
