Delete mods?

Hey guys,

I'm not quite sure who runs this site (DC?), but I notice that a couple of my older versions of 'Battletoads Double Dragon: The Revenge' are still in the 'downloads/modules' folder. I'm not sure if I'm the one who should say this, or if I'm even allowed to, but those older versions (v.5 and v.6) may be deleted. They are obsolete versions of the mod now. The latest release of the mod is v.7

Anyway, I don't know if mods take up a lot of space or mb's of this site. Not sure if it works that way.

Yes, I do run the site. Generally we don't delete mods for two reasons.

The first is archival purposes. That speaks for itself.

The second is a combination of the software limitations and my own time. The forum software simply doesn't provide any way for non-administrators to delete uploads. That leaves me to do it and even for admins it's a rather convoluted, time consuming process. There's no way I could ever keep up with the delete requests were that floodgate opened.

If you'll post the link to the download pages you want removed I'll see what I can do, but no promises.

It's only these two:

You don't have to do it if it's too much of a hassle ;) I just thought that the site would become slower or something if I keep uploading newer versions of the same mod :P It was just a thought I had. Each time when I think I'm actually finished with the mod, I tend to learn a couple of new things to insert into the mod and then I wish to share it with you guys. That's the reason why there are so many versions of the mod.
