Canceled Dungeons & Dragons UPDATE

Project is halted prior to completion and will not receive further updates.
the fireplace looks perfect and the fire is a cool add .and jousting is a cool ad to have you thot of ( 1p vs 2p  jousting

I like the number of rounds playing from round 1 to round 2. Even the win-loss after rounds via image.

nice work as always.

Maybe you can use zoom script to zoom out the view, so you can see the other rider approaching.

Don't get me wrong there are a lot of really awesome openbor games, but this mod has got to be the best & most anticipated game so far in my opinion. I still want to play Jennifer 2 really bad, but this game is loaded with so many great options, characters, enemies, backgrounds, & it keeps true to the D&D mythology. So much talent on this site, you guys rock!!!

Very interesting idea! If it's doable, go for it!

Speaking of today is the 40th anniversary of Dungeons and Dragons so this one will be an awesome release for us DD fans and beat'em up's fans alike.

Wow, I wasn't aware of that Hanzo!  That's so cool.  This game is definitely in honor of the late great Gary Gygax (inventor of D&D).

Here's a cut scene of the main villain, Iuz, sitting on his throne interrogating a prisoner (who you later have to rescue in one of the quests).
Last night I was reading online about this awesome Conan game for Atari Jaguar that was cancelled and never released.  The screenshots show it's a Golden Axe type game with really nice sprites.  So I made a Conan sprite and added him to this scene, just to show you guys.
He will be in the game as an NPC:)

I've finished making the sprites (all animations) for two three new bad guys:  The Chaos Warrior, Scarlet Necromancer and the Goblin Shaman riding the Ogre.  These guys fight as a team.  They might even get their own quest down the line, where you can play as them.  But for now they're for a boss fight:)

All the features being shown are fantastic, but what is the core gameplay of this mod?

It's still like D&D Endless Quests?

Think of it like Capcom's D&D games mixed with Endless Quest and Elder Scrolls.
I don't want to give an ETA because I don't know how fast Bloodbane will finish up.  We could release the game right now and you'd think it was finished -- but there's a couple quests and unlockable characters and other small things to add in.  It is near completion.  If you want to see gameplay and features, just go back to the beginning of this thread and look through it there's tons of videos:)

erf, not in the main quest.  The main quest takes place in the Kingdom of Furydondy and the Empire of Iuz, which are at war.  You can play as a paladin, fighter, elf, dwarf, cleric, mage, thief and unlock the bard and cavalier.
Once you beat the main quest, you unlock a new one.  I haven't decided if it's a demo for the sequel, or a self-contained quest.  Either way, in this quest you play as one of three villains who are trying to find the three-part key needed to free the Dark God Tharizdun.  They are:  Tharizdun chaos cultist, Scarlet Brotherhood necromancer and goblin shaman (riding the ogre).

oh, I love this! As much as I like playing as the enemies, it's so much better when there's a story reason for it - and even better when they have their own special stages.
