Future projects

I played the Japanese version of *Fighting Force*, known as *Metal Fist*, and it was one of those action games I spent a really long time playing.
I skipped the sequel, *Fighting Force 2*, because it took a weird turn, but I really wish they had kept releasing games in the same style as the first one.
While looking for *Fighting Force*, I also played a game called *Spikeout*, and I’d definitely recommend it.
Same! I like Fighting Force 1 and Spikeout !

I think a remake of Crime Fighters 1 would go a loooooong way, even if the hit detection is fixed. If the sprites are remade in the style of Crime Fighters 2, then it would be an all timer.

Also, here is another suggestion, if someone can somehow remake that undumped Beavis & Butthead arcade game. Since it hasnt been dumped, It would probably be too big of a task to get the sprites right. Just an idea though.

Speaking about future projects, this video shows a new template focused on educational purposes, showing how to start in the OpenBOR engine.

I've chosen high resolution sprites to differentiate from the classic BOR mod, since I discovered that many people don't even know that the engine can handle this kind of sprite. This one uses the 960x540 resolution, but I'm planning to create others using HD and Full HD resolutions.

Inside the game code, you will find many instructions telling how things work.
It will be available soon on my Itch.io store.
You can also obtain it for free by subscribing in some of my Patreon tiers.

This step starts a series of templates and packs containing some useful material that help people to code their own games using the engine.
