Gaming controller advice

I play games on PC and I mostly use 2 controllers: PS5 dualsense (previously PS4 dualshock) for fighting games, I play almost all of the current ones, SF6, Tekken 8, 2xKO, Fatal Fury City of the Wolves, Guilty Gear strive.
For non-fighting games, like for everything else I am using XBOX Series controller, previously had Xbox One controller.
Thin is, I am thinking of changin them for something else, as both have somewhat of a problem with durability. Drifting analog sticks, for dualsense especially, also it's d-pad started to "click" and feel weird, as for Xbox pad - its analog rubber sticks deteriorate with time, even though I think I have used both in only a year or something.
So I am considering getting Hori Octa ps5 controller for fighting games and Razer Wolverine v2 for non fighting games.
What can you say about these 2? Are they good? I have read that Hori Octa is praised very much by FGC, and it's durability is great too, but some people say it's D-pad is less forgiving and requires more precision than dualsense/dualshock one, and it will require some time getting used to.
For Razer Wolverine v2 I haven't seen much info and reviews, the ratings in the online shop is good though. Both are wired but it's ok for me, I even prefer wired controllers.

...I got nuthin'. I still play on keyboard and have a couple of no-name trash controllers stuffed somewhere in my drawers. This is an interesting topic though. Curious what people have to say.

Looks "too retro"😅
Is it good for fighting games? I was considering a different model, like this pro 2, but I am not sure this d-pad is as good as dualshock/dualsense ones for fightings:unsure:

Yeah I prefer the roll/round style D-pad rather the the cross Nintendo style D-pad, when I'm feeling super retro I play my arcade cabinet with sanwa joystick and buttons, I've tried using standalone fightsticks but I never liked them, I would like to try a hitbox one day because they actually look like fun

I have 3 controllers which I use the most:
8bitDO M30 Bluetooth (when I want to play sega games)

8BitDO SN30 Pro which I receiveid as a gif from a patron

But my favorite one, hands down, is Gamesir Nova Lite

Using the dongle connection, its very fast and I can alternate quickly between my notebook, my son's notebook and my raspberry Pi almost instantly.

Very interesting topic.
I used to be like @DCurrent (Actually still the case...) A gamepad I bought pretty cheap "Speedlink" and still works pretty ok, but no more L1 and R1 triggers. (broken)
I would definitely not recommand it.

But Always felt like I should replace it with something more strong with better durability (also more expensive). After looking for Sony and Microsoft gamepads, I had many feedbacks of broken elements after just few weeks of use. It's sad, but I feel like everything is crap now. So, I became discouraged about looking for some. If evereything is crap and can brok after few hours of gaming, why buying expensive crap...

However, this thread caught my attention.
Really good idea.

I'm curious about for how long you got these game pads and how much you used it? Would you consider they have good durability in time?
M30 and Ultimate C wired Controller for Xbox... @danno
