Hole cover up

I have a stage that has a hole in the center back. (check pic 1)

Now i placed a panel of the front bridge part so that it would prevent (check pic 2)

I set the setlayer command to 60 and the you get the desired effect. (check pic 3)

but then you have the problem of having no shadow (check pic 4)

Is there a work around for this problem?

Currently you should try setlayer -2 or -3.

It is the only way that place entity betwee shadow and panel.

I did set it to -4 (one to many) and then you get the pic 2 problem but you do get shadows.

I'll try -2, -3 once I get home.

Don't worry, even if it doesn't work, you can still use a layer instead of panel, then you should be able to manually change its z value.
