Is There Any Way to Play Online?

Hey, so my best friend and I LOVE OpenBOR games and we'd love to be able to play them co-operatively together, but... there's an ocean between us.

Lately we've been getting a little sad about the fact, and so I thought I'd look into seeing if there's any way to play online. I thought of maybe trying remote assistance through Skype but to my knowledge I'd lose access to my keyboard, and from what I remember about remote assistance, it slows things down.

Has anybody ever figured out a way to play co-op online? My friend and I would really appreciate some help.

I tried this method with my brother and it worked flawlessly with my openbor project, I was really surprised. We played mugen for awhile too!

Awesome! I'm glad you got it to work, it's a pretty decent method to have for stuff like this. :)

It seems really complicated :/ I'm not very tech-savvy when it comes to stuff like that. Wish there was an easier method but I'll see if I can wrap my head around this.

It's not as hard as it seems as long as you have a buddy to help you navigate through it especially.

You can play with a program called Parsec, it's really awesome, my friends and I we are playing this weeks to OpenBor online with 0 lag and 60 fps. Learn more in www.parsec.tv

Cool, I will take a look.

There is a way to do this using just windows 8 native functions too, but there is a small lag.
it uses the Parsed tool for that.

So is it any good? anyone tried with nice results with someone over ocean ?

Hey, I tested it  with an American from Texas (I'm from Spain). This guy has a very little lag.
