Hi all,

Does anyone know the version number of the latest Openbor with .spk support?

Is there a reason why the latest version of Openbor does not support .spk?

Thanks

Spk support was close-sourced and was once developed and compiled by SX back in lavalit. Haven't heard from him for a while.

I thought spk support is here at all times, isnt it just pak but with tiny bit different compression code so paxplode wont work on it ?

No, the engine has to be compiled with .SPK support, which isn't in the main open source library. If it was, anyone could just waltz in, read the algorithm and write an exploder to break it.

To keep support for .SPK going, we'll either need SX to show up and work something out, or we'll have to write our own.

Thanks guys, that makes sense.  Openbor v3711 seems to be the last complied version that can support .spk files.
