If any of you guys know anything, which one would you recommend, unless there's more info needed.

Never seen these before, they don't really show any specs.  Like memory etc.
I think these are just for linking displays and watching youtube.  Not really for gaming.
More an office thing, connect it to a projector/digital Tv etc.

I honestly know jack about laptops, but I'd say the on-board video is better than this thing.  If your having trouble with resolutions try updating drivers etc.

I see, though, it's not just about resolutions, but primarily trying to run higher demanding games, like Marvel Heroes(and other MMO's) for instance, which require these specs:
CPU: Core 2 DUO 2.1 GHz / AMD Athlon X2 2.1 GHZ or better
Graphics Card: DirectX10 Compatible card with 512 MB VRAM or higher that fully supports Shader Model 3.0
    System RAM: 2Gb or higher
Hard Disk Space: 10Gb or higher
OS: Windows XP 32 bit or higher
More info: https://www.marvelheroes.com/about/game-info

Funny thing though, after using an HDMI cable to plug my laptop into one of my widescreen TVs, this 2D game called Sideway New York runs more better then it did in the past, so I though it was just a result of my laptop overall being slow. Even then, I do plan on restarting my whole laptop(wiping it clean or something like that) in the future, but still want one of these things to tide me over if it get's slow again.
