I was excited to hear a new Street Fighter film was being made until I saw the cast

Andrew Koji as Ryu

Noah Centineo as Ken

Callina Liang as Chun-Li

Cody Rhodes as Guile

Orville Beck as Vega

Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson as Balrog

Jason Momoa as Blanka

Viduyt Jammwal as Dhalsim

Olivier Richters as Zangief

Hirooki Goto as E. Honda

David Dastmalchian as M. Bison

Roman Reigns as Akuma

Andrew Schultz as Dan Hibiki

Eric André as Don Sauvage

Nah, this is just stunt casting recognizable names in hopes people will check it out. Andrew Koji is the only one that really makes sense.
 
@DatKofGuy , unfortunately yes -

personally i prefer they would cast talented unknowns that resemble the characters as much as possible and give new people a chance, but for current hollywood that is nearly an impossible task

- at least * checks cast list*

there is no Pedro Pascal, Zendaya, Jack Black, Seth Rogen, Awkwafina & The Rock on the list -

chances on this movie being good? i give it a 18% chance
so bad its good ? 45%

will it beat gems like Ice Cube's war of the worlds, Madame web or G20? don't think so

"chinese hulk" would either need to gain lots of weight or wear a fat suit

hehe know most of them but not their names, one o these are not like the other lol - to think that ai will be good enought one day that we will see movies with OUR casting choices,,,,
 
2026 is the year for video game movie adaptations and I can see the clear winner for this one lol

It is hard to tell since every movie/tv corporation are using AI make commercials/trailers nowadays but I believe it is not AI unless my eyes are deceiving me
 
I'm gonna get sooooo hype about this film and then ultimately be disappointed by how crap it is on release and then have an existential crisis due to the lows......brought on because of my high expectations.
 
Seems almost decent... I kind of like few of the actors choices...
But still have the feeling they whipe their a* with the fanbase. (Not sure it makes sense in english)
I don't feel hyped anymore.
Chun-Li actress was an average choice, but kind of ok (no problem...), but with this costume, she looks like a bad cosplay of her...
Yes, yes, Guile haircut, break the car... ok. This will not make a good movie just by adding these stuffs to an average mish mash of crap.
 
I am all in, and glad the film has a goofy tone to match the franchise. Nothing can top Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie.
