I will post all Sega 3D VR content here

for best results watch in VR or download the video file to see on a 3Dtv or projector, if not, check the end of the post...

for those who don't have any 3D equipment,
you can download the videos & use Stereo movie maker:
to open mp4 videos with it , it needs ffdshow or K-lite codec pack & avisynth installed on your system.
then you open the video using the option "open Stereo movie - Directshow via avisynth"

then use Stereo - Side by Side - Mirror left - or mirror right like in this video:

added instructions of how to do the Mirror method in the end of the first post

I have a 3D projector somewhere, I'm gonna try this and post results.
Sega's in-game game option settings allow for Fall in (fish tank) or a pop-out effect, & the emulator's virtual 3D slider is set to 83.

- the method i use for dumping the videos is the libvpx-vp8, while the game re-plays a citra TAS movie, vp9 was giving me weird color hickups -
the "rendering" is pretty slow
, but it is the only way for me , i can't play the game with decent speed & capture video at the same time , but using the TAS method i am able to increase the resolution to 3x size.

Also... it seems that video encoding options for dumping videos with citra might increase depending on what your windows system has - or if you updated citra

Bare Knuckle is on hold for now, i have to reach the last boss with at least 3 lives & no continues....

I've had covid 19 super delta force for the last couple weeks, better now, in my down time I managed to actually get round to playing Streets of rage 2 in 3d and I have to say it's really awesome,

I did things a little different from @oldyz I used a different type of 3D (SBS) side by side using a projector and 3D glasses like in the cinema,

here's the equipment I used.

here's some video capture If you have a way to display SBS full screen

I can honestly say It was a pretty cool gaming experience, the display is layered and really pops out like pieces of paper moving back and forward and I was really surprised by the depth, I actually felt like I was inside the game, guess the best way to show you how I was seeing it was like diorama art

but the depth from foreground to background felt like it was at least 5 metres, If you guys ever get the chance I recommend playing 2D games in 3D SBS.

Ha ha ha, Dr John Campbell was not kidding when he said that everyone's going to get Megatronned
I caught it since last monday the 16th & still have some weird issues all around

Streets of rage 2 3D looks way better than 1, if i have time later i can share the VR metadata injection so you can re-up the video if you want.

pretty cool setup, it must be a blast to play it in realtime, especially since the glasses you have seem to be Active types.
All my videos are 2D game-plays at first because my system can't handle 3D & high frame-rates simultaneously, so i capture them game-plays as TAS recordings & re-play them while the emulator encodes SBS 3xsize frame by frame .
6 minutes equals 30 minutes of encoding, so i got to play while another machine encoded them during my convalescence

I used to have a really good projector set up years ago, I prefer projectors to TV's to be honest especially for gaming and movies, right now I'm just using a green wall to project onto :ROFLMAO: but setting all this up again has given me the itch to do a new set up, I really wish I could show you guys what playing it is like in real time, it really impressed me, closest I could get to re-creating what I see while playing is this I made

But it still doesn't come close because the level of depth is insane. I played OutRun and Shinobi too 😱

The closest thing you can do is to make an animated stereo "wobble" picture, like the following:

using the layers you already have plus the blurr effect & animation kind of fools the brain a bit

How are you playing this, @danno ? Is there a stereo 3D version of SOR available on PC somewhere?

@ipkevin It's a Nintendo 3Ds emulator, it emulates the 3D features, To be honest I wish all emulators would add this kinda stuff, It's such a weird feeling playing 2D games in 3D
