Finally got around to making a new guid to help get users started modding with OpenBOR this uses opensource, cross platform free tools. This guide was made in Linux as I have changed operating systems from Windows but everything should work the same. As always any feedback is appreciated.

Zexika this guide will cover Gimp.

Thanks for making this, it's really helpful and its great you didn't edit out the mistakes you made because those mistakes are so common, thanks again

danno thanks this was something i wanted to make since I moved to Linux. I wish I could have cut down the time a hour seems too long for a tutorial.

Somethings to consider to help with that is time stamping in your description or comments, your video could be 3 hours long and nobody would mind if they knew where parts of the tutorial were and also telling people they can watch at a playback speed of 1.25

also off topic what version of linux are you using? I'm considering a change myself as windows 10 is hogging more and more hardware

I really liked the guide. My only gripe is promoting the use of .gif - I'd really like to see use of up to date techniques. Other than that, great job sir!

I know I did mention it was a personal preference and png is a better option but still any feedback is appreciated.

I watched a lot of videos promoting Linux the big one was "linus tech tips" showing that gaming on Linux has really evolved. I found that my 2 favourite games (Tekken 7 and Hearthstone) were fully compatible and most emulators have a linux alternative. Streets of rage 4 has a native Linux port that was a nice surprise.

I started with Linux mint (cinnamon) but after some GPU driver issues I moved to Pop OS (also cinnamon) They are both Ubuntu based the only thing I needed a driver for was my WIFI dongle once I got that setup it was just getting to understand WINE and no real issues since. I really like the look of Garuda Linux if I change again it will be to that desktop its arch based but looks so nice I especially liked the control panel for hardware.

If you need help getting setup contact me I will be happy to help.

Nice work buddy! I will share it on my channel and social media :)
I strongly suggest you to paste the time stamps Fabs Fabon made on your video description - and maybe pin his comment ;)
