OpenBor Marvel DC crossover?

I have recently been enjoying Mugen and OpenBOR. So much talent and creativity on display.

I particularly like the Mugen games with crossovers you wouldn’t often see in commercial titles eg mortal kombat vs street fighter or marvel vs dc. Loved Lion-O appearing in He-Mans OpenBOR game.

I have been looking but I can’t find one: so my main question is is there a marvel/dc of justice league/avengers/xmen crossover/team up OpenBor game anywhere? Batman and Spider man side by side etc.

As an aside and while I’m here are there any OpenBor or Mugen games based on the keanu reeves matrix and also is there a Mugen game that would have marvel and DC but also would have non  marvel or dc comic characters like  predator//Dredd/Turtles/Casey Jones/shredder/Bebop/Rocksteady/The Crow/spawn etc? Or even is there a polished almost definitive Mugen game that has most characters therefore would have what I’m looking for. Thanks in advance!
 
I should also add I’m aware creating an openBOR game would be completely beyond me both in time and expertise (I’m 40, computer illiterate, and my kid are 4, 2 and 0)  but with regards to my Mugen questions my next step is look into the possibility of cultivating my own roster, though at this stage even that is daunting but from what I’ve read possible and maybe even possible for me. I started off 3 weeks ago trying to get WWE No Mercy Mods to work and the rabbit hole has led me here. Is there a good marvel vs dc base game that it’s possible to add/remove characters from or is it a better idea to start from scratch?

Welcome to the community! This is not a programing only site by any stretch - it's the home of OpenBOR's community and (to a much smaller extent) a support site for Mugen. That includes everything from engine development to game making and sprite art. You'll find a lot of hats worn here. We also welcome pretty much any other kind of discussion so long as it's civil and respectful.

To answer your question, I'm not aware of a notable DC/Marvel crossover game. If you do find one it's probably an old slaphdash Beats of Rage reskin. We do have an awesome Marvel game you should check out (Avengers United battle Force by O_Ilusionista), and some popular DC work by ZVitor. Maybe you could convince them to collaborate.  ;)

DC & Marvel crossover is a common request which i receive, but i just tink it dont works like a beatn up, a game like this must be a fight game.
at least for now.... maybe i can change my mind in a far future.

Thank your for the very welcoming message, and for the information too. Have tried ZVitor’s justice league OpenBOR, I absolutely love it! Must check out Ilusionista too.

Gotta be honest, having just played an actual bona fide game that you made it’s pretty cool that you replied. Thank you for your work. Looking forward to playing whatever you make in the future.

There are mods with Marvel DC crossover and they were made by Goresickness, years ago. He released multiple versions of it.

I had this idea on the past, but its very time consuming and I don't like DC too much - or, better saying, I hate Batman and people would freak out if I made a crossover without Batman, lol.

Check out Dantedevil’s Mortal Kombat the chosen one.

It’s a very advanced game. It’s not Marvel/DC but aside of mortal kombat it has Batman, robocop and others in the roster.

To tell you the truth I'm working on some Openbor games and I admit that i have plans for both Predator and Spawn in the future.
