hi all, im trying to set up openbor to be used with launchbox. i've imported the games and that's fine. The problem is if i try to get a game to play full screen, it ends up being really off, like half the screen is out of view. im using an xbox 360 controller and i can map keys fine but then when im in game, some of them don't seem to work, i cant seem to use weapons in streets of rage games for example :/ any advice?

cheers!

I would like to do that too.

I almost managed to set it up, I just need to configure to load the pak.

Basically, I need to know the command lines needed to open a PAK directly with the OpenBOR.exe

i use one openbor.exe for each pak game, since actually there is incompatibility from mods with diferent openbor.exe versions than their original release package

There is this option, but I personally don't like it.
I don't keep much paks saved and I don't have trouble with compatibility.

Isn't there anyway to open a .pak file directly in openbor.exe?

But it's how it should be done. You need to always use the provided version with the game or check at the read me if there is any version recommend.

About to open paks with OpenBor, it's exactly how its done. Unless you want to extract stuff, then you need paxplode.

Ooh, i understand you want a command line or a batch option to open independient paks files on the launchbox front end for personal customization.

Maybe that option can be added in a future update for direct acces to games, but, openbor itself provides a select menu if you have 2 or more paks stored in the "pack" folder, even show a preview image for the games stored and a jukebox option to listen the musics inside the packs.

i just read this tread :  http://www.chronocrash.com/forum/index.php?topic=2235.0

It happens to have the same request but indeed there is a bug running in the openbor sourcecode who needs to be crushed to repair that fullscreen mess.

I know I'm wrong, but I really like the OpenBOR menu that MangeX mentioned. But now I'm using another front end, it might replace my "gallery needs".

Thanks guys!

i agree with cyrus, we really need command line for this kind of thing.  try setting up openbor on an arcade machine, you are going to waste a lot of space on copies of openbor.exe
