Or maybe you are trying to tell it looks a bit ugly. Thats because I use drawmethod rotate. I dont feel anoying and I really like it so because I see it as a retro ugly graphics. Tell me any you like, all comments shall be welcomed...@Cachito nice work on those ramps!
About the cart, I think it spins too much when jump, specially when it is falling like here

But where did you get this idea? If I thought the graphics were ugly, I would mention it in my feedbackOr maybe you are trying to tell it looks a bit ugly.
@Cachito
even tho the art style of your game is an an acquired taste sort of deal,
the animations have good quality
it seems that the characters are hand drawn versions you made yourself,
this gives me the impression of child-like drawings come to life, and i believe that if you make the module with higher resolution, those sprites will make "that feeling/impression" more effective, you would have to re-draw the backgrounds tho and resize everything from hit boxes to other stuff.
your loop the loop thing is very impressive, i assume it is made using script? scripted walls or basemaps?
Some sonic fans on this forum surely would appreciate a tutorial on how that was done.
after watching the video where a toad fights that big boss Rat, it reminds me of those boss fights on the simpsons arcade, with the scaling and deforming effects, i hope you consider making a simpsons arcade game in the future...
But where did you get this idea? If I thought the graphics were ugly, I would mention it in my feedbackI'm all for honest feedback.
The style of the graph is not what I like, but I understand your proposal. I know that everything has a slightly exaggerated movement, I just found this animation exaggerated beyond normal.
pretty good stuff, i can think there may be drawbacks to the method, but effective if the loops are in isolation (kind of like prerendered or pre nimated cinemas at certain points in the level, like in some 3d sonic games on some parts)Answer your question on how I create the loop. I just Made it using a simple panel graphic with an attackbox that makes you perform a pain reaction animation wich with drawmethod rotate goes turning through the loop rail. But if you likes it be more like in Sonic games ir could be Made with follows. Or even in my way can add some walls like stairs. I think theres much ways to performing awsome things without Scripts
