Some Streets of Rage Custom Sprites and Backgrounds from me.

Here's some graphical concepts I made of a custom pier type level. Most graphics are new, but I sprinkled in some existing sources from SoR2 mostly, and an edited version of the city from 3. I have a more full level made complete with layers, but this showcases how I imagine it would look.

Very interesting!
I like.
But my brain always reacts strangely when someone mix up 2 too different systems of space representation.

I get what you mean - the pier perspective is a bit off (and it would be tricky to fully match witht he floor as it is now.
If you compare the vanish point (where the lines crosses each other) of both part of the image, you notice they are different

Also, since we have a corridor on the pier which shows two directions, he would need to change to floor like this (rough sketch, needs fixing in the middle)

@Kratus Here are the full layers.

Also, @O Ilusionista, I am fully aware concerning the bit with the tiles. That kind of thing is really tricky to pull off in this style. You'd have to either have it switch, so that it gets too far to one side the further you go, which would be awkward unless you match it perfectly, or somehow pull of the SFII style of screen scrolling. It's easier to make that look right when It's a stationary screen, which I have done, but with this, it's a lot trickier.
