Street Fighter 2 V animated series '96

Have anyone watched this anime?
I think it's the best version of the stf story ever told!
I always been a fan of the animated movie '94
But this has it all and the attention to detail is there!
Characters don't wear the same outfit twice and they well written.
I never played the game for the arcade mode, just combos and compete at the arcades against other players.
I was able to write up a decent story for my beat em up thanks to this show.
I figure Ken be the main character since his loaded and the perfect reason for game to take place across the globe.
I switched things up as far as Ryu go.

Ordered on VHS the day it came out. Eventually sold it. Now I have the DVD set. Seems quaint to own either in the world of streaming.

Loved as a kid, but these days doesn't hold up quite as well. Still an interesting take, and a nice departure that actually gave Ryu and Ken a bit of development beyond "World Warrior" and "Rich Rival".

Hands down one of my favorites! I didn't watch it until around 2006-2007, but I loved it. It's not perfect but it's enjoyable. I love the fact that the characters have some type of development. I remember Guile teaching Ryu and Ken a "lesson." And I think there was some type of love angle with Ken and Chun-Li. It was interesting. Wish Street Fighter would do this more often.

The story modes of games didn't cut it for me but to think they wrote something so crazy and didn't build upon it is sad!
They chose to retell the story instead.

Seems quaint to own either in the world of streaming

I prefer hard copies over streaming but only
for something like Stf 2 V, Golgo 13 and Berserk '97 anime.

I think there was some type of love angle with Ken and Chun-Li.

Add Vega to the mix and things get bloody.
Seeing Chun Li's father was a great and how important he is to the plot.

Wish Street Fighter would do this more often.
