Taking a Break

This is more for the development team, but just a quick FYI. If I've seemed quiet in the code base, it's because I'm taking a little break to work on my personal OpenBOR projects. Some of them are so far behind I can't even test new engine development unless I download someone else's modules first.

I'm still monitoring for pull requests and such. I'll be back in the source myself in a couple of weeks, and have a whole ton of updates coming soon.

That is cool you take all the time you need we can hold down the fort.

Before you go I was thinking when you finish your big rework how about we finally move openbor from v3.0 to v4.0 ?

I don't believe I've ever played a single mod you made, DC. And given how involved you are with the engine's inner workings and scripts, I can only imagine they're quite impressive. I'd be happy to give 'em a whirl sometime!

I second that :)

Wow, thanks everyone!

One of the things I've done is taken time to revamp my workflow. I converted my projects to Visual Studio Solutions. Even though VS is a heavy duty application IDE, you'd be amazed at how well it works for module building.  I've already mentioned what a boon it is to have projects on Github - well, Visual Studio also has full Github integration, so it's seamless end to end. Add in Photoshop for image editing and I've got my own professional grade OpenBOR studio. :)

I tried four of them and they're all quite impressive.

Uhm... that's impressive indeed, considering I've never released my module work.

I meant the demos on GitHub. Not the final versions.
