Not bad. One thing I've learned from experience though - it's a good idea for your master canvas size to have just as much room below the sprite layer as above it. This becomes more apparent when you are making reactive poses.
Also, although it's probably a good idea to use a blank .pak, you don't technically have to. OpenBOR will mix content from both, and if there's a direct conflict the data folder has priority.
