Video Game Classes

I have a question: Would it be possible for me to use the openbor engine to teach video game classes in my community  and charge a fee, or is that against the rules?

Sure!

Just make sure to credit the author for whatever example module you use, the original maker of whatever assets they used in said module, and obviously the OpenBOR team for use of the engine. Currently that's myself and Plombo, but we stand on the shoulders of many giants!

If you or your students have any queries, I'll do my best to answer time permitting. I'm no stranger to education... It might even be a feather in my own cap for PH.D. Work.  :)

Thanks for getting back with me Damon. I will do exactly as you request and If I can generate enough profit I want to give some back to the community. I plan on having my first meeting this August at a local library just to see how many people are interested, and believe it or not 2D gaming is very popular this area. I know some people that attend Full Sail University that want to help me, my son included... Anyway all credit will go to You, Plombo, and the authors of any mod I use. I don't plan on giving away any mods though, if any of the students want one of the mods I use to teach I will request that they join the community and download the game themselves because to me that is the best way for them to learn. Its not possible to create a good game without a solid community with resources and Chroncrash has tons of that. I will teach them everything I have learned from you guys. Thanks again and wish me luck.
