My sprite animation reel

Yes, I definitly feel "inhuman" rendering ^^
I cannot see "human" "imperfection" behind these sprites.
The result is very interesting.

Again, I'm very curious to see them in a game you worked on.
they would certainly looks very nice ingame.

No sure about the landscapes to be considered pixel art, but it sure looks like good pictures.

And about the pivot animations, I'm glad this type of method fainally can be expressed with such characters.
I used to see it in very cartoonish characters, and it particularly looks good in these 2 exemples, particularly the red head girl.

I will concentrate on this particular red head girl since the other one is not really pixel art to me.
She looks very good.
Even if there is some flash-animation-feeling that can take me a bit out of it. (arms and shoes mostly getting very lifeless)

Beside of that this is very gorgeous!

These sprite renderings are certainly AI generated. It would appear that it is not just a basic text to image generator, as it looks as if the op was able to add their own custom data sets in the form of individual sprites for the AI to regurgitate.

Your animation in OpenBOR has improved leaps and bounds @bWWd. It looks so much more lifelike and less puppet now. Really amazing use of color too. Mechanically speaking, what does the crow familiar do? Or is it just for aesthetics?

With anime it helps when you keep framecount low, this gives it that typical anime pacing. Also i swap images frame by frame so each frame is well... different image. Her hand works like this and adds to this effect, i think it derails off that cutout look.
With cutout method its easy to give characters too many frames and its not what really looks good, similar how 60fps does not look like a movie but 24fps does.
I just wanted the crow to be on top of the hat.But i might use him as helper.I didnt really thought about mechanics of it too deeply.

The Aardvark cartoon was my fav as a kid, it still is ,iwatch it with my daughter so i decided to make a small game about it, probably will be split screen.
