I think he's just working on it.
And he certainly have a real life beside of that like all of us.
Eventually @monomartin will come back to it. When he can.
No rush. I think he do his best. :)
 
Hello friends, as Ned says, I have little time to dedicate to the game, but the update continues, I made several fixes and modifications, it takes hours and hours of work but in a few days I will be sharing this new version.
Thank you Ned for your understanding and to the entire community for your patience.
 
I remember reading somewhere about the possibility of making Kate a playable character. I know she won't be playable in the upcoming update that will eventually be released (whenever that may be, and don't worry, I won't pester monomartin about it, because, hey, he's only one person and has the dreaded real-life syndrome just like the rest of us.) That being said, if she were eventually made playable, just like how some FF Mugens (and possibly OpenBORs) have Jessica Haggar playable, what would her move list be like?
 
This new update was perfect...lots of punch and nostalgia, I'm a fan of the Double Dragon franchise...this was the best Openbor I've ever played. Billy is perfect and balanced..what a gift to the community..excellent and thank you very much...
 
I found some bugs playing with Billy, at some point the character disappears when executing the move of jumping on top of enemies... also in the chainsaw enemy (stage boss) he sticks to Billy's legs upside down and it is no longer possible to let go... will there be another update??
 
I Absolutely love the progress!
My only comment would be Haggar's co:lor looks a bit dull (just like Final Fight style) compared to other characters.
perhaps tweaking a bit his palette could do it.

It's true, it's a little pale, I'll see if I can improve its color, I've always had trouble working with palettes, it's something that's hard for me, but I'll try hehe

If you prefer I can help you with that.
Just send me a sprite of your haggar and I'll try to make a different more vivid color palette for you :)

I did it by taking some color references from Vendetta + many adjustements in contrast etc.
Hope it will help you.

I'm sorry I had to switch to 24bits to work faster.
Hope you can restore it for your game. If needed I can fix it later for you. But I'm not good for color management in openbor.

I think I made a mistake by not sending you a sprite with all the colors that the weapons use, anyway I passed the image to 8 bit and the colors fail, I understand that they change in the location of the palette when doing the conversion but I can't get the correct result, it's something that I always have problems with, I will send you a sprite with all the colors in 24 bit to see if you can help me, or if you know of any tutorial to recommend me, palettes are my biggest enemy.
