In Progress Fatal Fury - Legend of the Hungry Wolf

The project is currently under development.
This dojo is very classy.
It would be good to maintain the same perspective for all the buildings, that is to say, a vanishing point that points upwards to the right.
This would create a more uniform look. Great job on this wonderful stage! ;)

Oh. This is just a snap from part of the stage, there are buildings to the left and right of the dojo.

Worked on another intro cutscene as an homage to one of my fave beat 'em ups.
Work on the game has slowed down a bit, feeling burned out from work, so motivation to work on the game is a bit low at the moment, but it's definitely still in progress.

Progress is still slow, but I'm working on more stages to flesh out South Town. Expanding existing stages from the game to fit a beat em level, and making some new ones of iconic landmarks of the city. Since most of them do not actually have official designs for the outsides of the buildings and such, I have taken some creative liberties but tried to stay within the theme of the city.

Sound Beach extended a bit from the original game.

I have a few others I am still working on for the exterior shots. Then will work on the interiors, since many of them exist from the game, will just be a matter of expanding them a bit as well to fit a playable level.

Thinking for some bosses I might mimic the stage the way its in the game and make it a one on one fight.

Wow ! I like the result.
What is the source of these stages? beside of the sound beach from FF series.

I don't see actual real pixel art... -> AI generated ?

It's AI, definitely, considering how the focus is on the BG elements when in actual games, the BG elements give an ambiance but tends to avoid catching too much the eye of the player.

It's a mix, I build the scene with parts from different sprite resources and then pass it through an AI to make it cohesive. After which I then go through the image in photoshop to fix any issues or add in anything else I feel should be added.

@DatKofGuy Can you please use the forums native function to attach your images, using 3rd party websites like imgur means your images are unviewable to percentage of the forum due to the Online safety act.

I didn't realize that was a thing. I just posted as I always do. I assume I should use the upload image function instead?

Looks cool, but you will need to review the parts made in AI.
Like this one - the guy has 3 legs :)

This is what the guy should be doing - It's a capoeira move called "Bico de Papagaio" (Parrot's Beak) (parrot's beak)

When I practiced Capoeira, we called this movement an Aù Batido and the foot strike was much more pronounced:
Thank you for this lesson, Mestre O'Ilusionista, it's the first time I've heard this term used for this movement :)

And yes, if you use AI for your environments, the different styles generated will need to be consistent with each other, and these resources will need to be checked for errors.

Yeah please do, many people including myself cannot see the images because of 3rd party websites.
Will do. Thanks for the heads up.

Oh for sure, I am busy doing that, a lot of times the text also needs to be redone. So basically before I put it in the game, I do a last pass through photoshop to reduce colors to make things a bit more "arcade" crisp-like and to fix any issues.
