In Progress Nekketsu kouha kunio kun china Longjing

The project is currently under development.
Good evening.
I am currently drawing an enemy character modeled on the famous movie actor Donnie Yen, but I am having trouble with his face.
Which of the three types in the image do you think is best?

I would go for B as well!
Good to see a reference to a great martial artist like Donnie Yen!
@kt住江 Other martial artists in mind? (just asking ^^ )

B is the most popular. Thank you.
If there are any other leading figures, please let me know.
I will definitely refer to them.

I just recently watched Ip Man and Ip Man 2. Enjoyed both movies, any other recommendations for films with Donnie Yen?

Meanwhile, looking forward your beatemup project(s) as well!

Best wishes

Hello everyone at ChronoCrash,
It's been a while. I sincerely apologize for being out of touch for the past three years.
A lot has happened, but **kt住江** is finally back.

I'll also be resuming my projects here, so
if you have any questions, please feel free to let me know.

Thank you.

I’m sorry for the very late reply about two years overdue.
Regarding the body proportions, I try to stay faithful to the classic *Kunio-kun* style, so I adjust the character’s height by about one to three pixels.
Also, as long as the face retains the *Kunio-kun* look, I can widen the body as well.

I also have an announcement for everyone here.
The current project title, *Nekketsu Kouha Kunio-kun: China Longjing*, will be changed to
“Double Dragon: Chinatown War.”

This decision was made because setting the story around Kunio — a Japanese character — traveling abroad made the scenario more complicated. As a result, the event scenes kept getting longer, which reduced the focus on the core action gameplay.

We encountered a similar issue ten years ago with the *Los Angeles Chapter*, where the event scenes ended up becoming too long. Since belt-scrolling action games should prioritize action, I want to keep cutscenes as short as possible.

In contrast, using the Lee brothers from *Double Dragon*, who already have strong ties to American Chinatowns, allows us to keep the story concise and natural without creating any narrative inconsistencies.

In addition to the familiar protagonists Billy and Jimmy, two original characters — a male and a female — created together with volunteers three years ago will join as new playable characters.
Although the protagonists are from *Double Dragon*, the character designs will still follow the classic *Kunio-kun* style.

I apologize for the sudden change in direction, and I appreciate your understanding.

Hello everyone, it’s been a while.
Development has slowed down due to various circumstances, but work on the game is still ongoing.
We are also currently creating the common enemy characters that will appear in this game.
I’d like to share a few of them with you here.
We will continue doing our best with development, and I would greatly appreciate your continued support.
