    Future projects

Kratus, it would be cool to have a Golden Axe X covering the first three titles and also The Revenge of Death Adder. You know GA III isn't that great and deserves more attention.

In Progress Streets of Rage X (Windows / Android)

If memory serves, the lights can be switched back to the originals in the options; well, I remember Kratus showing that on YouTube a few years ago. As for the rain lightning, I think using the classic version might solve it? It has effects that are very close to the Mega Drive version.

In Progress Streets of Rage X (Windows / Android)

No problem! ;) As I mentioned in my other comment: it’s chaotic in the sense that special moves basically send enemies flying—you know, multiple enemies can go tumbling through the air—plus there’s the juggling mechanic at the edges of the screen.

In Progress Streets of Rage X (Windows / Android)

So, does that mean you didn't like the tag-team system added to Marvel Cosmic Invasion? Dude, that was one of the best things added to a beat 'em up! And you know, She-Hulk there is basically Max's size in terms of sprites. Just think about how the police car also appears out of nowhere—I mean...

In Progress Streets of Rage X (Windows / Android)

Kratus, I just remembered a system... You know how Marvel Cosmic Invasion has that tag-team mechanic for special moves or even basic attacks (I recall it applying to basic attacks too)—an idea clearly inspired by Capcom's classic "Vs." fighting games. Well, perhaps that could be added to the...

In Progress Streets of Rage X (Windows / Android)

Hey Madus, in my ignorance, I think you can run it in OpenGL? Welcome to the forum!

In Progress Streets of Rage X (Windows / Android)

What are you talking about, man? LOL... This is the first time I've suggested anything related to SoRR! Honestly, I don't recall any other time before this.

In Progress Streets of Rage X (Windows / Android)

If memory serves, the "rearrangement" feature already exists in SoRX—and, for comparison's sake, it has existed for many, many years in SoRR. However, there is a detail regarding the latter: only the paths are modified, and the choice depends on the player. I believe, as I mentioned earlier...

In Progress Streets of Rage X (Windows / Android)

It’s inevitable to compare them, since in essence they are the same game—setting aside, of course, the reworked sprites, scripts, and so on. So, unfortunately for you, many users kept coming here suggesting things from SoRR because it shares the same "backbone." Many classic arcade games...

In Progress Streets of Rage X (Windows / Android)

Hey Kratus, have you ever thought about adding achievements? Just to give an example: In version 5.2 of SoR Remake, defeating the trainer without hurting Roo earns you the "Kangaroo Friend"; that sort of thing would be a really nice touch. Adding a shop (similar to the one in SoRR) would be...

In Progress Resident Evil: Survive (OPENBOR Game)

I played a few rounds with some characters and thought it was really cool that Jill has so many special moves. =D Man, I laughed so hard at Jill dancing! That was unexpected—I hadn't read the manual and just happened to input the command... and "WTF... LOL!" XD The sprites for the enemies and...

In Progress Resident Evil: Survive (OPENBOR Game)

Does anyone here remember this one? I played this module back around 2011/2012 on my old FAT model PS2. At the time, I had no idea what OpenBOR was; I only discovered the engine—and so many other cool modules—years later, around 2017/2018. =) For me, RES ends up being nostalgic in a different...

Metal Slug SB Fanthology by SuperBlinky

Thanks for the information, DC! It's really going to take me days to process all of this... But it's good to know these things! =)

    Metal Slug 30th Anniversary

And then the guys at SNK send us this... A new Metal Slug on the way?! Maybe a new Anthology collection? The last one is an incredible 20 years old! I think it will just be one of those hard resets. More here: METAL SLUG 30th Anniversary Site A bonus of 20th Anniversary: METAL SLUG ATTACK...

Metal Slug SB Fanthology by SuperBlinky

In my ignorance, I thought it would be easy to move everything from GameMaker to OpenBOR; I mean, adjust a few scripts here and there and everything would be ready to continue. It's a shame it's not that simple... =/ So, the project started in 2020 and received some updates until 2023, then the...

Metal Slug SB Fanthology by SuperBlinky

Hello everyone! I did a quick search and didn't find anything about this project here, even though it's been around for a few years... For those who aren't familiar with this amazing project yet: the goal, as I understand it, is to create several original campaigns alongside remakes of the...

    Complete Marvel Infinity War

Hey ZVitor, I really appreciate the MUA theme music, it's truly epic/nostalgic; but I was thinking that this one: It fits the art style better overall, as well as the other songs. And you know, MIW has always been more about Marvel movies than the MUA game. Of course, MIW also has a lot of...

In Progress Streets of Rage X (Windows / Android)

Exactly! I had forgotten about that. It would be cool to see that mechanic for Shiva in SoRX. =)
  19. SilentMRG

In Progress Streets of Rage X (Windows / Android)

I know that Shiva doesn't use weapons in SoRX because he understands himself to be "the weapon." But I want to make a suggestion: It would be cool if he could at least throw the weapons. This behavior exists in SoRR with Mr. X. Finally, I have a second suggestion: It would be nice if the...

    Streets Of Rage Remake Discussion

SOR4 borrowed something from SORR: the city map. SORR shop is one of the best things, characters to buy and... lightsabers! Violence in the Remake is wonderful, cutting Galsias in half with a sword (or lightsaber) is a delight. Sega should have officially released it for all platforms. And...
