I haven't decided about it yet.


Indeed it will be hard to balance it. We don't have normal enemies anymore - the game is now a boss rush.
So they would helo you to defeat the bosses.


Yeah, I know. I am still not 100% sure about to make the 4 turtles to share the same lifebar.
But for sure I don't want to add the 4 turtles as playable characters.
I love the playable Leonardo & his ai brothers could fight bosses
 
Maybe you pick a turtle at the start of a battle?
There are two points to care about it:
  1. It´s complicated to code such thing (plus, time consuming)
  2. This would add a whole extra layer of difficulty on all custom states. Mugen doesn't have anything like OpenBOR "weapon (alternative models)". So I would have to change all the attacks which used custom states to handle this.
It's a nice idea? yes it is.
But the amount of work and time needed to code such thing costs me too much and I would prefer to scrap the whole idea instead :(

I had one solution, Perhaps why not Leonardo over Wolverine
 
Yeah, Leonardo can be just be an stand alone character & he's perfect

From my experience, I tell you this wouldn't work - fans can be extremely annoying and toxic at times.
If I only add one character from a famous group, like TMNT, fans will insistently ask for the other 3 and I would have to spend 3 slots in the game just for that.

It's the same reason I didn't add the Fantastic Four to my Avengers game: if I put one character in, they'll ask for the other 3 (and then every other character they've ever been a part of). Over and over. And I don't want to spend 3 new slots with the other characters

I already experience something similar in the Power Rangers game: No matter who I show in the game, people just ask for the Green Ranger. Over and Over. Just like they keep asking for all the formations that ever existed. So much so that if it were up to me, I wouldn't even put the Green Ranger on anymore.

TL;DR

I have a philosophy as a programmer: I only add new content that brings something new to the project. So to add a new character to a game, he has to bring something different to the project.

Personally, I hate the concept of adding a new character just to have something new, while it basically functions as a skin for another character. So I prefer to add a skin/palette/custom. It's one of the reasons I didn't have She-Hulk playable in my Avengers game - she would just be another super strong character, there's nothing new she could bring to the game. The same goes for the Thing.

Yeah, Firebrand can be one new character scents he's a gargoyle like Goliath from Gargoyles or Samus Aran can be a sharp shooter like Bren Mcquire

This is why Captain Commando might be an easier idea to implement, as there is more precedent about the other three just being helpers and not continuous NPCs.

Indeed, but the only SNES rip available is bad, since the ripper added some effect over it

Characters And Bosses
Hi.
As I've explained to you at IG, them at FB (and now I will have to explain again on a forum) neither this Cyclops Neither this Wolverine will be available here.

As mentioned before, they were part of an old project (Super Nostalgia Wars, where this projected has branched off) and that project is dead and the original creator had quit from Mugen years ago.

I know this may sound rude, but explaining the same thing to the same person on different places kinda bothers me
