@kimono Those sprites are pretty cool. I don't know who this character is but he looks to have many of the same style moves as Ken. So it might work.

@Miru For some reason my rom versions of RBFF2 don't have defeat ports on the countdown menu. I thought your idea was cool to include Cheng defeat but I can't get it.

I think the defeat portraits are only in the Japanese ROMs.
 
Here are some new special intros for a couple of characters on Blanka's stage. These intros will be in the next game update which will be released on 8/16/2024. If you have any ideas for the other characters on the roster to have a special Blanka intros feel free to share your ideas.

My ideas for Blanka stage intros:

* Ray McDougal - Surfs in on a tidal wave generated by his wind powered-legs. If he’s fighting Ken, they’d both leap off the boat.
* Jeanne - She’s fishing, & catches a knight’s helmet with fish in it. She looks on confused.
* Captain Kidd - Clings on to a plank for dear life, then when he sees the battlefield… “!” & he jumps into action. Alternatively, his ship appears in the background, & fires him out like a cannonball. (Could also be used on his own stage)
* Athena - A vine swing comes down with her on it, she then swings off of it & does a landing. When fighting another female character, both are on the vine swings.
* Dhalsim - Swings his arms as if they were vines, before landing on the stage gracefully.
* Guile - Climbs down from a helicopter ladder onto the stage, the helicopter rising up from the bottom of the screen.
* Wraith - A large snake slithers out of the water, turning into Wraith when he lands on the deck.
* Honda - Jumps out of the water & then eats 2 fish to try and 1-up Blanka.

Zangief's submarine intro could also play on Kidd's stage.

In the next update of the game some characters throws will be replaced with a bell throw when playing on M. Bison's Thailand stage.

@O Ilusionista I'm working on a Mai FF2 as well. Basically a sprite swap like I did with RYU street fighter 1, but with a couple of altered moves. For example she won't have her fan spin, in it's place will be a upward fire kick. If I can make it work I will try to give her the Vega ripoff move.

In the next update of the game some characters throws will be replaced with a bell throw when playing on M. Bison's Thailand stage.

@O Ilusionista I'm working on a Mai FF2 as well. Basically a sprite swap like I did with RYU street fighter 1, but with a couple of altered moves. For example she won't have her fan spin, in it's place will be a upward fire kick. If I can make it work I will try to give her the Vega ripoff move.

It's crazy to see how the fighters throw them to the bell. Genius work there, ELECTRO.

It's almost like it's done in ee-kehmen.

While adding some Slam Masters stages to the game I decided to add special intros for each character. They even have an alternate intro when playing simultaneous mode if they are player 3 or 4. Each intro has unique music based on who is player 1 and 2.

I know Morrigan usually wouldn't be valid due to power levels or an aesthetic clash that can't be resolved with SmartPal (but would instead need to be redrawn), but she'd make good DLC for this like with Superman. And yeah, I had some more ideas for the wrestling intros.

* M. Bison could start with only his grin, then the rest of him phases into view as the crowd gasps.
* J. Carn could enter the stage on horseback. Same with Jeanne.
* The Wraith could be pulled in by a hearse, with him bursting out of the coffin when he gets to the arena. Alternatively, he could take the form of a snake and slither his way in, morphing into the humanoid form when he arrives.

Very cool. I know it would take some sprite work, but I would suggest having Ryu walk - actually walk, as a callback to SF1 when he and Ken walked in to start the round.

Ikemen is full of surprises.
I would not be surprised if it can make possible the usual wrestling game mechanics.
I'm also curious if someone finally managed to mane Z axis walk possible. (just like it was kind of possible in WINmugen.)
