In Progress Creating a TMNT mod suggestions comments ideas?

yeah I saw his post thats what made me ask about kitsune. Every now and then I'll skim through spdb to see look for character bases and to see if I can find the character he described
 
@Lichtbringer - cool suggestion for rock soldier, I don't he's not ripped thou.  I'll probably use traag sprites if I add them.

Don't worry about Apolex base, I don't really need it, just posting ideas. 

 
a few edits I made for some of the turtles attacks @beastie and therain23 you guys can save these to your drop box as a backup

the first two are leonardo the third is for michelangelo and the last is raphael

I was thinking foxy too but hadnt really got into it much. Sorry for the delays on this but every time I see Beasties work I feel like i gotta step it up. this is what I came up for Splinters spritesheet no tail if your still willing to work on that gr8test. If you guys need me to make additional sprites or edit anything let me know. I'll start on Rocksteady next wish me luck

I kinda forgot to add more faces but since the character only has one other expression but I suppose it could be added to special sprites during the first frame or so

Guys I was thinking about suitable bases for good Ninjara and Alopex edits, and I came to the conclusion that you maybe should put this two on hold, and focus more on the on the Turtles and the main content of the game, if you realy want them in the game you can still add them in a update.

I belief the best way to create this to would be with a lot of Frankenspriting, using a suitable base body like therain did with splinter and then add the fox parts.

A important part of this is that you need two different bases, because the only thing that Ninjara and Alopex have in common is that they both are female anthropomorphic foxes, except for that they are completly different in there design, clothing and fighting style.

If you both want them in the game at the release, you should consider to ask someone to make the edits for you to save some time, I can still help with some suggetions for sprites if you like.

But that is was I'm thinking about it, if you already have a better Idea about all this stuff you can just ignore this part of this post. ;D

I realy like this splinter edits and good look on Rocksteady I can't wait to see your work.

thanks for the compliments guys. Yea Alopex really isn't that important now just a thought for the future. As far as the Hadoken goes I was pretty much thinking the same thing about it. I just have sprites I get to discouraged when attempting to put the pieces together so I'm just focusing on what I feel comfortable with for now.

@Thegr8test & Beastie wanted your guys opinion on which base I should use for Rocksteady got it down to these the first kind of reminded me of how he looks on the old cartoon series the second i think would fit more with the IDW style but i think both bases could turn out really well so what do you guys think

man its hard to choose both are definitely great bases for him I say the second because it would match the turtles look and the overall look your aiming for in your mod. By the way who's the first guy? I'd be willing to edit him as a side project for you if you want to include him in an update for your mod

to me Nick base seems better.
 
Both look big but #2 I like most.  The first one would be a cool edit thou, but not match the other sprites as well.

there was also that other base I tried that was kinda cool.  It might take some work editing the palette before editing thou.

BTW with finding bases, looks are important, but they also need some decent attack moves.  For example, Rocksteady should charge attack with his horn and possibly hold and fire a rifle.  Casey Jones base needs to be able to hold bats and have suitable sprites for swinging attacks.  etc.

Nick has some basic and Special animations that could be edited to have him use his rifle or his machete, and he already has the perfect charge attacke, just swap his head with Rocksteady and it will look realy good. =D
