Well as promised here's a demo video showcasing the gameplay system I'm working on for the game. I think I pretty much showed off everything I have added so far in terms of combo's and everything but I'll do more videos of the other turtles to show how they will differ from each other. Let me know what you guys think and if you have any ideas, suggestions or questions about things please share.

Nice work man!! looks really fun to play!
Good to see some of the work in game!

Looking forward to the rest of the Turtle!!

I also love what you did with Leo'zZ super move it lookzZ really awesome as a combat super, it works really well in a beat em up game.
I originally made it for mugen :P

haxpor  Yeah I initially didn't have any foot step sounds for them since ninja's are supposed to be silent but they can run up and kick you so fast I decided it would be best to give players some sort of warning first lol

Nice new stance for Leo!

Hey man, I've made a little modification on your Ralph idle animation, so it won't be that close to Mike idle anymore, plus some move movement here and there:

Thanks GuyzZ!! This got me motivated again!

an A-D eight siting hope all is well!  Question I'm working on weapon animations. Is it easier to add the weapons as an item or create a foot sprite sheet for each weapon or version of the character?

Also do you guys have any ideas for the foot elite?

A-D-EiGHT that looks awesome man, I was tempted to use those kind of effects in the game but I decided to stay traditional with things
Thanks man, no its better that you didn't!!
The way you did it is way better and suits the beat em up game way better!

I'm good, thanks for asking!
how have you been?

Well I use photo shop and what I do is put the weapons on the sheet, then copy the frame I need to a new layer, put it on the top layer(weapon layer) and erase the fingers covering the weapon.
So every time you copy a frame of the weapon to a new layer you combine that layer to the top layer(weapon layer)
Hope this helps ;D

You could possibly use Sokaku from Fatal Fury or Nicotine from Samurai Shodown/Samurai Spirits if you need hats for the Foot Elite, though their sprites might be too large.

Miru  do you know where I can find sprites for sengoku 2? I haven't seen anything on spriters resource or database

You could ask Maggas for permission to use his rips.

Its downscaled, not 100% size.
You could speed up your work by making some of the stuff in spriter software, enlarge to 400 and cut up turtles characters limb by limb then assemble frames by frames, should go quite fast and precise. Then you export downscaling to 25% and you have crisp sprites, working on actual 100% size is not a good idea cause it can introduce some blur to sprites, each image is 3d texture and because of that you can stretch it ,rotate and do a lot with it.

Thanks for the tip man!! I was already cutting them up but to scale them up to 400% is a great idea!!!

But what kinde of sprite software do you recommend?
CozZ I use Photo Shop for the most part and I have Aseprite(just getting in to it)

Spriter, you cant draw in it but you prepare bodyparts first and then you assemble frames, it takes some time but still faster than drawing them
