By request, ChronoCrash now has a donation box and Patreon.

Maintaining this forum and the engine is an expensive undertaking (funds and time). Any support is most appreciated. I want to be clear though. Donations are voluntary only. There is no obligation, and there are no incentives for donations.

This is to be fair to all - I feel that offering incentives penalizes members who do not wish to donate toward a hobby or may want to donate but simply can't afford to. Chronocrash and OpenBOR are for everyone.

I have a suggestion: put more information there, like telling a bit of story of OpenBOR, some pictures, etc.
This helps to gather people to help you.

It has come to my attention that SMF Treasury is no longer receiving support, leaving me with no choice but to disable the donation box. Until a viable alternative is located, please direct any donations through Patreon.

Recently I received a couple of PM's asking about the forum donation box. To answer the first question, I shut down the old forum's donation box quite some time ago because it just didn't work properly and never received updates. That's one of many reasons why I switched software. The new forum didn't have a donation box yet because I was busy trying to get everything back up to speed and repopulate the resource manager.

Thankfully, that's all fixed. As of now, the donation center is set up and running. It's located in the top navigation menu:
