Can't the Cavalier level up (buy) new mounts for himself, thus upgrading its attack damage and speed?

Horse -> Unicorn -> Griffon -> ...
 
nice work Count, I like your summoning idea. 
He could summon it to replace horse, for the um.. purpose of flight? or looking badass!

I finished the main animations and sprites -- I added fur to his forelegs, a saddle,  armor to his back and put the Cavalier on him.  Check it out:

It seems it roars (screeches? shrieks? what is the sound an angry griffin makes?) on each attack, even when it's the Cavalier swinging his sword. I'd have it screeching only during the dive attack.
(minor thing: if it's possible, do the Character preview videos in another stage, with fewer enemies, and a little less stuff to crowd the the screen)

The Grifon is beautifull and the sound is good :)
For the horses the sound is horrible ... (i think)

The other problem with all these BIG animals, is if you have 2 horses and one Grifon on screen, it is very difficult to see what you are doing ... like for enneies :(
On Golden Axe arcade game, there are animals, but all are smaller, charcters and animals, it is not a problem to play ...
But i don't know if you can easily remove this problem ?
 
Thanks for the comments.  I've removed the Griffon screech for when you swing your sword, and saved it only for the dive attack.
It has a different screech for when you summon it btw.
I've added the icon to the inventory, and the summon command.  This video shows you how it'll work.  We might have it fly in and land instead of walking in.  This is my pass at the Griffon, Bloodbane will improve it from here:)

As for too many big animals on the screen, that was just a demo level.  I reduced the enemies for this demo - it would be rare to have that many large animals/creatures on screen at the same time in the normal game.
 
  Alright, I made (couple days ago actually) sell item feature for this mod. Now, players don't have to worry about having full inventory ;). Well, some rare and special items can't be sold however.

Count Monte suggested increasing inventory slots, I have idea on how to do it but I'm thinking how to actually implement it.

While updating Wagon, I also updated its AI and this time Wagon forces player to retreat, you can see the screen is scrolled back and during this autoscrolling, player loses control of camera and are forced to follow the Wagon.
Players must destroy Wagon before it reaches start of stage otherwise....

Really great bloodbane, but look easy to have human error and accidentally sell things.

Is it too hard to make your typical inventory screen?

Loved the Battle Wagon! You can feel the danger in the air, if you don't kill it quickly.

I know I will be too nitpick, but there is something which bothers me: the way the horse stops after moving. Its too abrupt - it was almost running then it suddenly stops.
 
I think you guys are noticing that the horse and griffon idle anim is just one sprite for now.  I do plan to add some more frames to those sprites (breathing, tail moving).

Now, I will say that animal sprites are tough to do.  The horse didn't have any standing sprites, so I had to make that by using elements from the running sprites.  It shouldn't be too hard to add some life to it, however before I do it if someone with spriting skills wants to help with that that would be great.

All your mod bosses are so excellent, i think i will really love playing your mod ...
When we see the videos we can see everything is designed to immerse the player into the atmosphere of the game ... i love that.

The only little problem is some characters animation, because many of them are home made, and it is the hardest work to draw and anim a character fine :(
For the Griphon you make a fantastic work ... it take you many hours i think ...
