Face Enemy Direction Constantly

Is there a way to make it so my player is automatically facing the direction of my on screen enemy and unable to turn around but can walk wackwards assuming the stage only has one enemy?

I was thinking that if this can be acheived then maybe fighting games can be made on openbor or maybe boss fights could potentially use this feature for example like an MK mod.
 
You can force a static direction, and also introduce a turn delay, meaning you will walk backward until the delay ends, then turn around.

There's no native "always face your enemy" for players, but it's a very simple to add with a script function.

Also note there is a backward walking animation. If it's available, any entity moving backward plays it. Otherwise, they'll play the normal walking animation in a reversed cycle. In general, of course you can make fighting games on OpenBOR. You can make virtually any game if you're so inclined. That's the beauty of its scripting engine.

I wish I knew scripting enough to do this. Thats my weakest skill with this engine. I wish there was a paid course I could do to bring me up to speed. I believe that Openbor is a powerful and underrated game engine.
