@gabo-hanzo: I find the roster of Final Double Dragon incredibly enticing: Kenshiro from Hokuto no Ken, Lee Wong from Tiger Road -one of my fav- Cody, Guy, Kunio and many more.

I was intrigued by "Parsons" though, I've never heard of that character. While doing my search I came upon Tough Turf (Sega, 1989). Funny how your version is more polished and better animated. I just hope you'll flesh out his movelist a bit. Sincere Good Luck on your project.

It's a long process, but I'll polish the new character's missing moves as best as possible. Greetings
 
@gabo-hanzo: man, you have such a good taste! I used to play Vendetta in the Arcades too. I like it so much I looked for a faithful OpenBOR port but no luck (there's an OpenBOR game entitled 'Vendetta the World Warrior' but it's quite a different game).

Heck! I feel the 4 characters from Vendetta could be worth implementing (Boomer especially) but I don't want to add to your burden. 😇

I noticed that Blood's Signature Move, a jumping rotary move ending with a punch, is not present. How hard would it be to implement that? This move:

I know you're still testing but I feel compelled to add: the latest characters all use a "Hurricane Kick" move. It might be better to make characters more diversed in their moveset. But hey! You're still testing so you're probably not there yet.

Finally I noticed you used the wonderful theme from 'Double Dragon Neon'. I See You're a Man of Culture As Well. ^^ Again Good Luck, I like your project more and more.

if i'm going to work on the spin of the twisting fist.
I'm not sure if I'm going to replace the spinning kick since I intended to do a spinning punch as a second special, but I'm still not sure.
by the number of characters and different styles and blows. It's already getting difficult for me to maintain variety and differences in their attacks, both normal and special, therefore the roundhouse kick is a relief since I always make variations but it's still a "tatsumaki".

I noticed most of the new characters of this mod seems to be based on the same character base, so it limits a lot the possible poses.
I wish there is more diversity in term of designs or archetypes.
For now, it is very pleasing to see such a roster but it's basically "shotoclones" of Billy/Jimmy. With alternate moves.
Like Ryu Ken Akuma Dan Sean...

Sure converting this specific attack into DD style would require work.
If it was me I would have used Blood's original spriteset and tweak it to fit the game.

Let's wait and see.

That's what I call significant progress. I didn’t expect such a quick update, to be honest.

In Vendetta characters had 2 specials, one executed from neutral position and one triggered while moving forward. Judging from the vid, you’ve implemented both specials. Excellent!

Blood’s "forward special" was always hard to hit because it's air-based. I can see your version of the special has the same quirks : hard to aim but rewarding. Bravo.

The Final Fight team seems to have been visually "double-dragonified" to fit the Double Dragon Universe. This is a nice touch.

About Parsons, I see you’ve edited his sprite too. Now his hair/clothes are much more detailed and his body has become more muscular. I like it.

Finally here's some wild consideration: the more I think about Parsons outfit, the more he reminds me of Robert Baker -the final boss- in Bruce Lee's movie "Fist of Fury" (1972).
So ... why not add "Bruce Lee" in your Roster? Err! Sorry for my ramblings, I don't want to add to your burden. 😇
