Final Fight Arcade Redesign

I understand you since I'm mostly an artist/designer/art teacher.
I'm pretty sure either.

-You can code it, since this kind of game would need really regular coding knowledge.
-You can manage to have some skilled person here coding it with you if they are interested in this project and have time for it.

Good luck, this is beautiful.

Thank you nedflanderuse,
i think so too. I would really appreciate someone could take this challenge along with me.
Cheers

Sorry friend, that's been a long running narrative around here. "I'm an artist, and I don't code... will you join me?"

The chances of that happening are statistically 0. The best you can realistically hope for is to hire the services of an experienced module author, and even then only for portions of the project.

The reasons are numerous, but one of the biggest is that having a vision just isn't anything special. EVERYBODY has an idea, and the people that know how (or have taught themselves how) to do it are too busy with their own. We're all here to help - that's why this forums exists, but none of us are interested in building someone else's concept from the ground up.

I don't mean that as any sort of insult or knock against you. It's just important you understand that hoping and asking won't get far. Turn off Creative Cloud and put it away. Read our manual. Fire up a text editor, and try some things yourself. When you have questions, ask us. You might be surprised at what you can do. :)

I don't understand this sentence is it some kind of ironic stuff?
again english is not my original language.

I'm not encouraging to not do anything and wait for other to do.
Otherwise the project will never exist.

More like either doing by himself since its not some really comp^lex coding.
Or by any chance if someone is hardcore fan of  FF, and want to give a hand it' could work (not coding FOR himself)

I'm not sure my english translates well my ideas.
Again, the idea is not to hire someone to make his own dream or this kind of kiddish wish.
Like please make my game, look it's so cool...

Sorry for this double post : it's just that I'm back to the subject.

Final Fight Forever, I really recommand you to start checking the documentation about Openbor features.
It's definitely easy to start a simple project.
What can make the difference is your graphics and ideas.
The coding itself takes some time, but really OK to do. If you don't have to use scripts and advanced stuffs.
Please, don't let one more beatiful project disapearing and staying like a sketch.
Again, good luck!

Nice work. Is there a way to fix the hitsparks/hitflash of the attacks? Because they appear on the wrong position.

Btw, this isn't made with OpenBOR, right? So I will need to move this topic to another section.

Sorry to ask.
But what is it exactly.
Rom hack? Animation? Not Openbor of course, any other engine ?

What is your goal?
Again, such a game would be really simple to code with Openbor. But with some time of course.

nsw25 If this topic irritates you, stay away from it.
Unless it brakes some rules (which you could report so), you don't need to reply.

By the way, I am moving this topic to other area since the author doesn't reply to my question.

Hi, is that mean topic no longer will be available? i gave answers to most of the questions already, but please ask more about FFARDS project.
of course its fake, everybody knows that. from my point of view its more like advertising of incoming geme as whole.
Thanks so much for support so far. Everything so far is a new learning experiance.

It must of take you shitton of time and i mean A LOT A LOT of time to make these animations and you know, you could of make actual openbor mod with eveyrthing in it in less than half of that time, a lot of FFight graphics and sounds are used and reused in various mods, i actually started first game by modifying finalfight apocalypse by mr.q.
What youre doing is very time consuming, so IMO you should stop dreaming, its totally in your reach to do that game and its not that hard , its quite basic gameplay.
I dont want to speak for everyone but ive got afeeling that a lot of guys here would prefere to actually create that first level in openbor than animating it like you did and it would of take much much less time + you would have the real thing.
So i kinda get it why its "painful" to watch, because all this commitment and workhours...  and most of us know how much time it takes to edit sprites and place all animations, and you did it for these vids... this is clearly a big passion project for you.
Id say go for it and start making that game.
On the other hand i dont believe 100% that its a fake gameplay, theres too much stuff going on and its quite precise, id say its actual modification of some mod.

Hello, here is render of Stage 3, West Side.
Thank you all for support, comments and suggestions on this project.
I really hope ill be able to post a acctual ingame footage of FFARDS soon.

Enjoy.

Exactly, this is why I wanted to ask what is it once for all.  :-[

nedflandeurse:
FFARDS INTRO was created entirely in After Effect, and demanded a lot of editing to match the original INTRO.
Background design was made all from original graphics + photoshop as a tool.
untill my wishes comes true i use only photoshop and after effect along with Nebula 2.25b emu.
You've got some answers here of the author here.

Final Fight Forever: Please stop posting fake videos and losing time on these and let's start the true, hard work transforming your edited resources to a game.
I'm waiting for your pm ;).
