Im still reading comments and stuff but theres not that much demand to finish the game at the moment, i even started another simple openbor game in the meantime for myself.I didnt watch he-man in a while so im not in a rush to finish this game.Its not like abandoned it completely but i feel people are ok with this version and arent asking for more that often so time is passin by and its 3 years from release... i do have time to work on it, i just dont have inspiration and ideas good enough to add new stuff.
Also... i met a woman so... it also have something to do with it, real life and all that usual talk to make excuses, but to be honest its more about inspiration.

The thing with fan games is that it is for fans like me hard to guess what is ok for creators like you and what not, I'm sure there is more demand for that game as you maybe belive, but the people here probably just not ask that much because they don't want to bother you with it, and just quietly wait for some updates.

In many communitys creators get angry rather quickly if they get asked too often about the progress of there projects, some even cancel there projects to not get annoyed by forum users, so many of us are just unsure how to handle creators, and just wait.

I'm a big fan of everything from the 80's so I would realy like to see that game Finished when you have the time for it. :)
 
Yeah me too , It is still my most favorite BOR game so I hope he gets the inspiration to work on it again one day, What with the new He-man and Thundercats comic that's come out it would be great to see a game where these two franchises meet.

He has made some beautiful Thundercats sprites of Cheetara , Panthro and Mumm-Ra

Hey, dont worry, i actually have like a gazzillion new animations and characters for this game but not programmed yet, im animating characters from he-man, super powers and gi joe cartoons , also other various 80s cartoons, its all commissioned ,
I like watching others playing my game :) i always got a good laugh whentheyre excited about something made by accident, also i just found out that i have to add some message when you fail labirynth stage cause it kinda ends without anything on screen, do you guys find labirynth too hard? its easy for me cause i memorized it but might be different for others.

I dont know yet, ill have to ask the person i did sprites for , i added text info to labirynth stage so you at least know what is it about and it tells you that you failed.
Its kinda dumb that i didnt do that before

Ill have to fix he-man walking animation xause i dont like it now, he kinda floats...
 
So happy to know you are working on this game again , I love all the new animations you have been working on like the Adore transforming to She-Ra and Catra.

If you manage to add Catra and her Panther transformation one day that would be amazing , Also Bow from She-Ra could be a great distance character using his bow and arrows.

Would love for you to create a video of how you make the characters and animate them.

the top 5 things Id like to see you add done day (if possible) would be.

1) Catra playable/boss
2) Bow playable
3) Hordak as a Final Boss
4) Super attacks that effect all enemies on screen
5) Flutterina or Frosta added as playable characters.

Not demanding any of this lol just a huge fan and that's what I think would be cool to see even just one thing would be great.

Good luck with it all can't wait to see the next update.

 
All that is pretty doable, now im changing some animations that feel a bit stiff.
Id like to add transformations but im not sure where, other characters shouldnt "see" he-man and she-ra transforming...

Maybe just add the He-man and She-Ra transformations once you select the character ?
 
msmalik681  most stages are taken from the show especially background images, floors are a bit different - some of them are edited by me from production cels with changed colours , added various elements like trees , lights and stuff , im trying not to edit too much , just so it works ok with original backgrounds from show.
liamx2000 now when i think about it, adam has different colours than he-man has alreadyu in his palette, it would have to be done with some workarounds, also on select screen you can pick your colours and adam has different ones.

Looks great , I have found an image of Whispering woods if you wanted to add it as a stage , maybe the player could enter the warp portals like they do in the He-man and She-Ra Movie.

Thanks, i think i didnt had that one but i have a lot of bgs, i remember i was thinking about adding second map to play on stages from she-ra.
Today i was watching some episodes and i was thinking about one stage when you would escort one character and horde would try to attack him, to add variety between levels, also every level should feel like accomplishment so its boss battle or some task to do because levels just to beat-up enemies are kinda boring after awhile.
I even had level with top view where you could race driving small vehicle but i never finished it.
