Nice start :) . What's the plot of the game? Maybye you can use a wide screen resolution like video 1 (1 = 480x272).

Stage 1 Boss Revealed.

WIP Fixes: Fixed Direction Both to Right.
Removed the freezing sprites because the sprites are belonged to Camren Springer's Creations.
 
Loving the jazz vibes, don't forget to adjust some of the body boxs and attack boxs on your characters, some attacks are not hitting and other attacks are hitting out of place.

Sure thing, I guess some enemies like leopard, gnoll, ghoul, and skeletons box are really short to attack, I'll fix them.
 
I'll work on Stage 3, 4 and Tesse from Waku Waku 7, both Tesse, Stages 3 and 4, and a level you don't know of will be revealed soon.

Finally finished Stage 1, Showcasing the death animation on the first boss. Just having a good play with a Kneesocks palette from Kyo Kusanagi, but Kyo's Chizuru Palette teeth is very messed up I'll fix the Kyo's Chizuru Palette.

Note: I wanted to do Free Special Moves, but how can I scale these big ones on image editor?
 
Pretty fun.
Beside of hitboxes, I have some suggestions to make it even better.
-use different sound effects than the usual BOR sounds and sparks.
-Same for lifebar and timer.
-Try to avoid mish mash mixing of too different type of sprites (It can be better mixed up with fitting palettes)
