@warecus, yeah, I totally forgot about the mask (though I did remember her long hair), but at least that way it's recognizable and he doesn't need to sprite edit her anymore. But of course that look would be perfect! ;)

@zvitor, Hey, have you updated Vision yet? Do you plan to? You could change his attack after Intangibility Special to his uppercut (and probably increase damage a bit, or throw enemy further away, or anything that gives the impression of a stronger attack). Also, I keep trying to shoot laser on air, like on Cap&Avenger game, maybe he could do that (up+attack on air?). Speaking of laser, what if you made it longer like Cyclops?

US Agent has two air attacks, but both knockdown. One of them (down+attack) should do a regular hit so you can chain a combo.

After Banner turns into Hulk, is there a way to go back? Besides the random chance when at low health? How about at the end of a looooong idle/wait? That way you can actually use radio to call the Sentry. Just an idea.

man, i played a lot this hero up game to get ideias for MFA 1, and now i completly forgot this game, thanks for show it.

so i will do 3 changes do vision,
- his air attack will be a diagonal beam, no more that fly attack.
- his special, a jump and smash ground, after it he become intangible
- and grab attack change a bit his hand sprite and give same effect jubilee and magneto have to robots.

i like this sprite pallets, but im not sure, or maybe just a bit lazy to put mask, and change hair,
i remeber to test banshee green costume, but in end i used blue one.

banner can back to hulk, just need to wait for healing factor, and to remeber, healing factor are 2x more fast and works at walk too , before was only at idle

i finished sounds, so im doing final adjustaments, more sugestions are welcome, but i should avoid huge changes, goal is release this weekend.

 
sounds cool, I was screwing around with the sprites...sounds good with the updates

one small thing if possible to have chars have random chance to not get hit by enemies/random miss to simulate probabilities/luck powers for chars who possess those qualities.

This can be for the chars like domino who just shoot a gun and black cat.

you probably can give this to agility chars or just do like O said for them to have them attack on get up after knock down.

if this is possible it would be cool to give random critical strike to strong chars like hulk jug thor red hulk...maybe not a one hit kill per se but knock a big chunk of life randomly to enemies (not bosses) kind of the same random way your phoenix fire works for jean.
 
Another thing you could add to Vision is an increased rise invincibility - you mentioned everyone was getting 1 sec, but he could phase out of harm's way more easily than others (and maybe Invisible Girl could have that too).

you could use that fly attack as JUMPSPECIAL.
that's where zvitor set fly mode. Well, I liked that fly attack - maybe could be changed to run attack or something. I think having only the diagonal beam will make him less effective.

Speaking of fly mode, I was just trying to fix Storm's. It loops waaaay too fast. Unfortunatelly, I can't do it without screwing up her movement, so I'll leave it to the professionals :P


Ohhhh! a critical hit system for everyone would be amazing! Characters could have different chance and different extra damage (SpiderMan crits more frequently than Hulk, but Hulk does much more damage when he crits).
Well, that would be a thing for MFA4 or maybe MFA9...  ;D
 
yeah dash attack would be cool as the fly attack "torpedo"

would put him on par with guardian's, bucky's, she hulk's, and dark hawk's dash attack...along with add ons you mentioned above he will be great...

or maybe a easier way is have a civil war A and a civil war B

roster would be secret avengers for A and mighty avengers for B

boss for A would be Cap and for B would be Iron man

and maybe add the beyonder for secret wars as a boss

Great idea! There's talk that CapAmerica 3 movie will be about Civil War!
The two modes would be awesome! Spiderman should be a mini boss on Cap mode, then he switches side and you can select him! (actually, any character could be enemy and then selectable).
I think this could be MFA 14th update...

Speaking of Versus mode, is there a way to turn off friendly fire when you throw enemies? I was testing my xbox controllers on danger room and throwing robots damaged other players.
 
i tested this base for mockbird in past, size didnt work.

After several tests and sleep at 4:00am, i figured VS mode just dont work for this game, because i didnt planed it since begin, so several moves bug, like "homming attacks" following your friends at story mode, i saw a lot of things to do, i will start to plan it for next big update some day..... but for now, i will enable friendly fire, it will at least make game more hard and demand some strategy when you play with friends, and is always fun slap a friend face for no reason, or when he get that life which you need.

also, i decide not add more lifes or continues, game dificult is nice this way, but i see some players are not enjoying the full thing, so i will just enable cheat mode.

Buddy, if I can be honest, I think this is a bad mistake. Friendly fire was never a good thing (SOR feelings), but can be even worse with full screen beams, for example.

lets see after release feedback ... i received a lot of feedback asking for it, and so far i had some fun with my kids....
 
Ok i was thinking correctly then i hope you can pull it off one day also will there be an option to disable or enable player ability to hurt each other?

its not that easy. My game uses scripted slams while this game not.
This means to add, at least, 2 new animations for almost EVERY single enemie on the game.

btw, vision updated:
- air attack is a diagonal chest-beam (just like cap and avengers)
- grabattack does that jubilee/magneto effect on robots
- special he jump at air and dive on the floor, when he enter at floor it produce a small shockwave area, and then he emerges some steps back on that intangible mode.
