I know I'm behind on mentioning this, but Kano looks like kind of small in my opinion, especially during his knocked down animations. It's not a big deal, but it stands out enough to lock my eyes to it every time he got knocked down. I'm not sure how much you even care, but there other size issues that stand out also, but I'd only mention them if you're looking for nitpicking. Looking great so far though, and I'm glad to hear your'e coming back to this project. I've been really looking forward to it.

You have Noob as pure black and same black as the backgrounds etc so on the Jax fatality it looked like Jax was attacking no one...

and Johnny Cages fatality is very bland. can you have longer delay of enemy in pain and johnny hit him like 20 times within few seconds (can have bones and skulls fly out of their groin along with blood to give it that camp MK feel)

Fatalities are planed to be used anytime, on this video, where i use only at boss end, it dont have the MK feel, i agree, but its ok because i dont want to slow down or do pause to each minion death, but after whatch video again, i will incress some pause time at least.
about darkness, its looks ok for me here, on this game i use 3 shadow layers at some stages, when we have that layer + fatality, then it became really dark, we cant even see background at goro lair. i will reduce it a bit, just a bit :)

added a nokill to first hits of Cage and Jade, on last hit cage broke enemy legs.

i didnt used any resize at kano sprites, now you mentioned, i can see it is a little small then others, will incress it a bit.

One thing I remember wondering was if Rain has his super kick? I remember watching the video with him in it and not seeing it, unless I missed it.

That's really cool! Some of those looked awesome.

It's gonna be a long 2 days but I'm really looking forward to having a new game to play with, and I intend to record full playthroughs with every character like I did for United Battle Force :)

I know the main story has the three games separate (with the roster from those games as the playable characters) but I'm assuming there's a mode where you can play as any character and play through every stage?
 
Wow!Great news, i am sooo hyped like you wouldn't believe.
I've been following your progress on this project since day 1, closely, on youtube (i am "wasabio 1" there :p ) and your productivity is absolutely commendable, it seemed you were making plenty of progress in a really fast period of time. But to actually have a release date so soon, that's super awesome!
Like i said in i think the Street Fighter Z video or one of the MK defenders of the realm ones, both street fighter 2 and mortal kombat 1 were some of my first, earlier pc games i ever had, so to see you branching out into both of those franchises was really nostalgic, and super promising.
Only one day to go now..! Can hardly wait. :'D *hype*
This..."Sailor Moon Arcade", the upcoming new version of "Double Dragon Infinity"  with new stages and characters, makes me think december is gonna be a blast for us OpenBOR fans :)
 
I played the 1st stage (trying to avoid spoilers) and I thought I finished the game! LOL.
So far I love it. Very simple and easy to grab and start playing.

Overall it's pretty damn awesome, and it shows your effort for the game and the love you have for the franchise. If I find any bugs I'll let you know, but so far I am just enjoying it!! 😁
 
Oh gosh!It's out!Even a day earlier, too!!Not only christmas came early for me with this release (My 10 year old self would have his mind BLOWN if a mortal kombat beat 'em up like this came out back in the day!)
But the game itself also came a day earlier...i feel super joyful ( n.n*)

And thanks for lending your unsurmountable talent to my beloved, nostalgic childhood franchises such as Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat (and the ninja turtles in JLU n.n which, to be fair, would now be considered DC cannon, i mean, they had 3 Batman & Ninja Turtle comic series, and a full length animated movie.).
I can tell by your DC and Marvel releases, that you put so much content, effort, passion, into what you do, your thoroughness is really commendable, dare i say...i personally get to enjoy them much more than many of the officially released games....case in point: the game "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan"
In that game, everything was set to be just right...the developer was just about the best choice you could pick for a beat 'em up, brawler turtles game (konami had gone the way of the dodo as far as videogames are concerned by then, and focused on slot machines and such..)
It also had a proven track record of producing quality licensed games, as they developed "Transformers Devastation" to great acclaim....THEN, things got muddy. Ubisoft rushed the development team, pushed deadlines...overall, they ruined what could have been a legendary game the likes of "turtles in time" in favor of business decissions.

Omg Z! What a game dude, I absolutely love it. Its a masterpiece and you truly are an asset to not only the OpenBor community but to all your fans and i am certain you will gain more. Finished the game and unlocked all characters and have enjoyed it. I noticed when playing as Shang Tsung and doing the ground move with the fireballs from the ground it does attack 2player in co-op. Also if you get to do an update can you make the original Reptile playable (its lighter) and perhaps add Quan Chi? Once again ZVitor its an amazing game, definitely a thumps it from me and now i shall play through as another character. Thank you! 👍🏼🙂👌🏼😃
