Need help to port a character

I wanted to port a character from Final Fight - The Last Round to Super Final Fight Gold LNS Edition v2.0, but the character only works in training mode as the level is maxed there. Whenever I try to load him into any other mode, the game crashes and the log says there's a problem with "update". Could anyone perhaps help me fix it, if anyone has knowledge on this?

It seems like a clash with scripts. The player has some scripts in his text file? You need to find the relevant script and put it in game. But there could be a existing update script but missing specific script details.... Have a look and let us know.

I've tried to compare the character's .txt file to other characters that were already in the game, but there was nothing hinting at the actual "update" script. The "update" script itself is in Spanish/Portugese, however, which I can't understand either.
