This is the first official Linux build in a while.  It also fixes a number of issues on the Wii:
  • Mods will no longer take 30 minutes to load if there is a folder called "data" on the root of the SD card.
  • Scratchy/crackling audio fixed.
  • The OpenBOR logo is displayed at startup like it is on the other platforms.
  • Fixed the colors of the PAK selection menu background.
  • Fixed animated GIF decoding, so cutscenes work again.
  • Re-enabled fast logging for reduced load times.

Note that this archive does not include binaries for Windows or any platform besides Linux and Wii.

where can we find 3978 for WIN?

Nowhere at the moment.  I'm working on more bug fixes, so I'll include a Windows binary in the next build which should be coming soon.

Okay, to me it feels like the audio issue hasn't been fixed at all. It feels like the songs that got scratchy at some parts are still the same :-\ Although it might just be a problem with the song files I make... Could someone link me to like, some sort of perfect tutorial to make .bor songs? Is there any awesome way to set em up so they don't scratch out?

They are probably just too loud and clipping.  Try reducing the volume of your music files.

I have' GUG 2nd Demo' .PAK, which music files are having the problem?

Lol, I actually think the 2nd Demo has songs that don't scratch out :P So reduce the volume and stuff? Cool, Imma get right on that!

Try reducing by -3dB, or just make sure it's not clipping (if volume hit's the red mark this means clipping.)

Maximize Volume (in goldwave) or 'Normalize' in other apps will give you max volume without clipping.
